It was such a beautiful moment. Luca may have been tough, but it was sweet to see he had a soft spot deep down. And after he put the flower in Nova's hair, it almost looked as if he was saying "Beautiful." So precious. I was heartbroken to see him die not long after.

This scene shows despite the brute strength and size of silverback gorilla, they also has the most gentle soul. Basically they are like blue whale but on land.

It makes sense. Gorillas have been shown, in captivity and in the wild, to be deeply compassionate animals. The males, especially silverbacks, have been known to display nurturing yet protective behavior.

I just watched the reboot movies for the first time, and when I saw this scene, my heart was singing. It was so wholesome and beautiful! I was saddened with what happened to Luca, so it was fittingly sad when Nova gave him the blossom sprig before he died.

I guess, that Luca felt, that this girl is kind, brave, selfless and trustworthy, whitch she could prove it during rescuing apes and Caesar. So touching and beautiful.

And Luca got killed right after this scene too 😔😭 !!

I love this scene so much 😢 It really shows Luca has a beautiful heart inside. He may be tough, ruthless, and dangerous. But he's a beautiful gorilla. ❤

Aside from the gorilla’s tough role, he really did have a heart and it was upsetting to see him go!

They knew what they were doing when making this movie. “Let’s make this moment so wholesome and beautiful only to immediately after break the audience’s hearts.” It especially makes me sad because I love gorillas 😢
