The worst thing is those very same fans they are pricing out of their seats are the ones who have been with them through thick and thin and all the lowest moments over the last 15 or more years. Guess who they will be looking at to bankroll the club again if they get relegated and in trouble again once all the fair weather fans have gone? Sad to see this.

All these price increases is great for lower league football! I'm a Liverpool fan but grew up going to watch Rushden and Diamonds until they folded. For me now as an adult with two kids to go watch Liverpool it is roughly £500 a match! Me and my two kids now go watch Peterborough every chance we get and it's only £35! Great atmosphere and fantastic style of football!!!

I'm not a season card holder. I'm a member. The club are getting so arrogant when it comes to the fans and the fact tickets don't make general sale. As a member this season I've had to pay £98.50 for the privilege of buying match tickets which went up by an extortionate amount! I'm aware there are thousands that want to get into the city ground but seriously forest sort out this mess!

I'm in the same boat. Our family of four went from silver membership (£100 for all of us) to pro (£380 for all of us) before we bought a single ticket. Our tickets cost £110+ for the four of us per match. If we went to every home we would be forking out over £2K to sit in the PT: two adults, one child, one teen.

I'm a Forest fan and the problem is that the premier league is an unsustainable league to be a part of unless you're at a headstart and the constantly changing rules don't make things easier. Certain teams have huge reaches and have double our stadium capacity. We just can't compete unless we make these drastic changes but these changes price fans out the game. It's a huge Catch 22. The alternative to this is we keep things affordable and we'll go down in the next 2 or 3 years anyway if we don't go down this season. I feel even more sorry for fans of town clubs. Burnley, Bournemouth and Luton are the only town clubs in the league this season I believe? Two of them are favourites to go down. City clubs are about to be promoted and I wouldn't be surprised if, in the next five years, it's a constant 20 city teams in the premier league because town clubs just do not have the financial reach to survive. And before someone uses Brighton as a counter point, Brighton are the exception, not the rule. They have been run superbly and we all wish we had that. But we don't.

I love how it's being mentioned about FFP or Premier league prices bringing in line, prices increasing etc. Its so ridiculous and shameful how people that are also fans saying stop moaning. The money prem/champ teams get from ticket sales is minimal on there income especially on effect of FFP so that's no excuse. For premier league football well for as bad on the pitch Stoke are, off the pitch 17 years the price has been frozen on tickets, 10 of those years were premier league football with sell outs and the club didn't raise the price at all. 7 of those years we've had free away travel. My ticket has been £400 for my brother £75. Literally no reason the prices need raising more then that you'll just start pricing people out of football

I suppose I’m a disposable fan now, having been a supporter since ‘67 through the glory days down to the third tier and back. What i've heard is that the club is using Brentford as an example for everything like this. Apparently over the season they make about double us through matchday takings and the higher ups at Forest can't figure out why. London prices would be my guess, when you can charge £70 a ticket and £12 a pint you'll make more it's common sense. Thing is people earn more down London and can pay it, wages in the Midlands aren't at the same level so you have to charge what you're supporter base can afford. Club is all about money now

I think it’s important to point out that there should be balance here. I don’t think that it’s unreasonable to increase the price however, the amount in one go is ridiculous. As much as the fans want the best for the club , but we never asked the owners to go bonkers with the transfers, which he chose. The management also chose to breach not the fans. And unfortunately this increase is irrational much like our ownership. I’m on the waiting list and I won’t pay that massive increase. If Marinakas isn’t careful there may well be a them and us mentality and that would be a problem not only for him.

If anyone complaining about season ticket should have their priorities in check. Going to stadium is privilege not a right. If you can’t afford it, sort yourself out financially, then you can go.

Yes football certainly changing for the worse, FA cup changes, look at last week end players kneeling again, who is pushing this stuff? Massive stand on the pitch before kickoff, every one in the studio wearing badges, two thirds of most teams are not from the uk. Are we in a situation where if you criticise a players performance it is being deemed as racism?? I don’t know but it is over the top. Rubbish from America, you can see a lot of players are not comfortable..

@@davidmarchant9386 I can read and I’m still saying we won’t, Leeds and Leicester come up, they won’t be strong teams, they’ll have to sell and will both start with points deduction, they’re both in trouble. Not sure why you’d think Forest would struggle. We have a squad that should be a mid table side, we’ve been extremely unlucky with decisions that have cost us a lot of points, but also underperformed, there’s a lot more to come from this young squad.
