Shocking ☘️✊☘️
Any local councillor or TD show up for this? Thought not,They're all too busy obeying their masters in Brussells.
For what died the sons of Róisín?
Absolutely insane. The cobblestone Is the heart and soul of Dublin? Destroyed the Cobblestone. The grave digger mulligans, mulligans, lloyds. Will be next. This insanity must Stop
100% agree! Save the cultural heritage buildings!!
What????? The Cobblestone is sacred, the holy grail in Dublin! The best pub for great beer, great music and great people. I'm shocked....
Dublin city management, if you must develop, you must enforce the new development to include or replace historic places like the cobblestone within its foot print, else you are just deleting your national treasure and history for short term gains. Don't be weak men, be strong, keep your culture, the developers will get with the program. Best wishes, good health to all. 👍☘
Save the dub pub ! Save dublins rich culture before they knock it all down for one big hotel city Enough is enough, this cannot be tolerated any longer Time for politicians to get involved, the mayor & the president need to be made aware of this You can’t ignore the public’s voice any longer , Dublin is more than one big building site Protect our cultural heritage before they kill it Build yer hotels somewhere else There needs to be designated cultural areas in the city & somewhere else for bleedin hotels Save our culture & heritage

I remember it before the EU came in and saved us. Rather this Dublin than the one I grew up in during the 80s and 90s.

That song refers to Derry, John.
Dublin has been destroyed by some awful developments. The same planners who approve of tearing down old Dublin spend their holidays in Italy oohing and aahing at their old buildings. There’s plenty of nasty 1970s buildings that should go before a landmark like the Cobblestone.
Absolutely devastating.
Dublin keeps on changing and nothing stays the same

They bus in foreign men, oh it really is a shame. They do it throught the darkness of the night. They think they'll trick is and we won't put up a fight.
Damn social media! Only now have the Irish people realised that nothing is sacred anymore. Now they'll stand up and carry props for the cameras. Now they'll take back their land! Now they'll...oh daddy is taking the Volvo off to Kerry so I have to dash back before the Roger Casement boat plus i and A6 too gets got. See you guys at Aoife's other place!

Ah, but it makes you feel good to believe you're actually fighting for some great cause while enjoying the benefits of the thing you claim to be fighting against. All hot air. The whole lot of it. Might as well be living In caves and fighting for the best watering holes.
I concur
Delighted permission for the hotel has been refused, those greedy investors don't care about anyone else only their own pockets, hotels in Ireland should be boycotted because of the treatment of their staff for example working hours ,minimum wage, and also the little or no breaks the staff have to deal with along with ignorant guests
Dublin, I’m so sorry to see this happening,…baille ath cliath go haillean.
Protect your culture
SAD
In view of what is needed as regards transforming the times we live in, 'The Age of war is dead. The age of economy is waning. And now is the dawn of the Age of Culture.' Culture = soft power, respect for thre dignity of life, listening to the voice of the people; it's what binds us and is a way of celebrating our shared humanity. There is no price on culture.
Ireland 🇮🇪 did it to ourself when we abandoned the church ⛪️
Anyone who supports abortion doesn't get to call our way of life sacred. It's a joke.

Nine storey hotel for "gimmigrants"?
They can march all day but the refurbishment will go ahead,l was dragged into the Woodkey redevelopment protest March in 1978 as a kid,lt was a massive event. I remember there were tens of thousands of people at it (not just a few hundred Students) and it was a bitter fight but those two ugly skyscrapers STILL got built. The redevelopment of the Cobblestone is an absolute certainty.
Is The Cobblestone Pub in Dublin, Ohio or Dublin, California?
