Can you really tell though, it's others hearing you. Even then you have to take connection into account, so there probably isn't that big of a difference.

@@aaronjiang8964 yes, you would be able to tell, the microphones are what allow both transparency and active noise cancellation to work, if they’re not as good then those features won’t be as good

The Nothing Ear (2) seem to be some nice pair of earphones. They mostly have to work on the mics for the next version, which will also positively influence ANC. Then they are unbeatable for the price.

I really don't think the microphones are the issue because the pass-through and ANC work perfect. There's something else at play.

I haven't commented for a while but I love your videos, please keep them coming.

Im blown away by the mic quality on the airpods pro 2! Sounded almost like the mic you guys usually use! Great review as always ❤

Same here... and that's a huge complaint I have about my AirPods Pro 1. If there is noise in the room (especially certain things, like clanking dishes, running water, etc.) I've had people actually ask me to stop using them, or stop making the noise, almost like it is so harsh, it hurts them. And, any recordings I've heard are quite awful for the original AirPods Pro. That said, mine have the 'clicking' problem (which Apple refuses to fix), so maybe mine are defective in the mic-department as well? But, the AirPods Pro 2 sound orders of magnitude better in terms of the mics!

I don’t know what he did there but the AirPods pro 2 mic is total trash. I’ve been comparing it to the galaxy buds 2 pro, beats fit pro, oneplus buds 2 pro.. all of them are significantly better

I do not believe that was actually the mic from the AirPods Pro Gen 2. Hopefully they will make a correction or highlight it somewhere.

Hi Max, it was only at the end when I realised that you tested the Nophone bids with that phone. Wouldn’t it possibly change the outcome when tested all with the iPhone? I mean, I would want to use the buds with my iPhone, so I am interested how they sound in that combination and what controls and easy pairing I would get.

Shouldn't change it. The nothing earbuds don't have any kind of special connectivity with the nothing phone weirdly enough, so they'd be identical when using with an iPhone, or any other phone.

For an apple fanboy, you do a great job being as unbiased as you can in your reviews. Props for that.

They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.

How much bigger is the nothing ear buds case compared to airpods. It's a deal breaker if it's too big to fit in pocket. Especially since I typically wear jeans that are on the tighter side

At 4:13 it's definitely not the sound from the mic of the AirpodsPro2. I think it's the studio mic. I think it was missed in editing. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Idk why but when I tested my ear 2's the microphone didnt sound like that at all, it was really clear, I also saw the quality of the audio from other creators but when I tested it myself it was very clear other ppl also told so

Samsung galaxy buds 2 pro vs nothing ear 2 which one is best for IQOO Neo 6?

So I’ve sent back the Ear 1 with it’s warranty after patiently waiting for an update that would fix the connectivity issues I have when commuting. I get constant glitches drop outs, interferences when I walk in crowded places. Nothing has seem to have fixed this;) Now I have been given a voucher with which I bought the Ear 2 paying an extra 50 euro’s. I am super happy with the upgrades but guess what just now I noticed the issues STILL have not been resolved @nothing are you guys aware of this?? I have 6 year old cheap sports bt in ears as well as Bose QT35’s that dont have this issue. Why is this still not fixed??

I’m currently deciding on which to buy and that mic difference is making me want to buy the AirPods. I just don’t know if it’s a big enough gap to justify the 130€ difference in price. AirPods are 279€ and the Nothing’s 2 are 149€, here in Portugal.

I have the nothing ear 1 and no connection problem s with my iphone

All features that shown about Nothing phone is applicable to any android phone with Android 12 and up (maybe older ones too, I don't have that to test) My annoyance with ear 1 is non blocking high end noise and if you start moving, ANC disables.

04:12 isn't the microphone quality of the airpods pro 2. They usually sound more bad than the nothing ear 2. I have also tested them both side by side.

We used the Voice Memos app with the AirPods Pro 2 connected. It actually was the AirPods and not the studio mic. You can hear the difference, easily.

Yes it's something they mentioned in their presentation. Up to 2 devices though.

Im not into calls no NC. Sound quaility of nothing 2 for me is great. Just install the app set up.

The case seems large. Is the case larger and less pocketable than other TWE's?

I have the ear(1) and the case fits really well i had a pair of airpods pro and i prefer the ear(1) case

In terms of transparancy performace, earfun air pro 3 is pretty close to AirPods pro2, but earfun ap3 is weak in ANC performance. Closer ANC performance to Airpods pro2 is Anker Liberty 4 ANC. It is very tough to beat Airpods pro2 it is good at useful stuff

Do we have a lanyard loop on the case yet?

I don't get the "not as loud" just boost the volume then??

I just love the look of the Nothing Ear(2) and the price is rather reasonable, but I do have an Apple phone. So if you could so some more testing with Apple it would be awesome!

Ear (1) supports AAC, so they should work on iPhone just fine. Only bad things is mic quality and quirky ANC ( i guess it's fixed in newer model)

Nothing earphones 2 are really good but the mic quality difference is massive. Airpods Pro 2 mic sounds amazing!

I would compare ANC going out where there are many cars. It's a more realistic scenario instead of just turning on the plane sound on the laptop.

well you should have used hi-res audio while testing as it supports Lhdc 5 , it would sound a little more crisp after that.

been on several meetings with people using AirPods pro 2 and they never sounded that good lol

ANC on the AirPods Pro2 was really downgraded through updates though, I feel like one year ago on a plane I coudn't ear a thing while now sounds only get reduced but never really get cancelled

microphone is really bad in airpods pro 2 (using it daily), strange that on video they sounded good. Nothing 2 microphone sounds even worse. So for calls it for sure won't work.

On iOS is possible adjust eq?

Had both. Nothing earbud first version…looks good but have a few fatal flaws…even after firmware update. Wind noise irk me to no end. Wireless charging often heats up really hot. Sometimes, the earbud froze and pressing the button does not help but once the moon is full and blue, it wakes up again.

@@alrizo1115 Fortunately/unfortunately no. They look similar anyway but the first version kind of makes me think twice about buying it. God knows what other problems they may have later down the road.

I have both Earbuds Nothing ear and Airpods pro 2, i prefer Nothing Ear buds when it comes of listening of Music. The base is more enhanced than Airpods pro 2.which I enjoyed listening. By the way nice Review 😊

Nice video, but for anyone wondering how do these actually sound, you should really watch video that Oluv's Gadgets made by using correctly tuned mics (Airpods pro vs Nothing and some others). It's hard to even measure these, Apple has custom tuning which solves the issue of different ear channels to some degree but still they do not represent original recording like the perfect sounding earbuds should (Etymotic maby, Earfun Free Pro 2 with custom tuning from above)...

I mean try listening to Hope by NF, the bass parts are terrible on AirPods pros, while nothing handles them quite well( AirPods crack even at low volume)

AirPods pro2 are great. Ugh maybe need to test more options but for 100$ more it’s not a deal breaker to just get the pro 2

@@extra4542 I picked up two open boxed on Amazon for 149 each. And I am a former Apple employee for a long time and know the difference between the fakes, and the real deal. Outside of the box being opened, there was nothing missing, except for some of the paperwork. The original Apple, USB-C to, lightning were in there. I have my own custom tips that I added so I didn’t worry about them being previously in somebody else’s ear.

Don’t trust nothing yet. I hear many of their users complain about fingerprint. This and that. Overall very impressive company just need to step up on bug fix and customer support.

Mic quality is pretty comparible tbh the only difference is the apple mic sounds softer with more of a muted pitch. The Nothing Ear emphasizes a higher pitch on the call.

I think based on this video, that's enough info for me to rule out these earpods as an iPhone user.
