Being able to set a glyp pattern that lights up when i get a new email would go a long way. Think notification led on the sgs2 - it used to be blue for facebook, green for whatsapp red for google mail and so on. The best thing, from my perspective, was the statement in this video about the noise on the internet. Aaaand it's interesting to see the cameras being positioned in the middle, reminds me of Motorola a bit, the add-ons back then. I hope you will be able to stick with this, not change it every year, but rather create something that drives the attention to the fun about technology, as you would say. Doesn't even have to be about the hardware. As an example, I liked the pie controls (don't remember the name sadly), which enabled me to use the phone without a navigation bar at the bottom, nor anything else. I could just hold my finger on the edge of the screen and see battery info, notifications, could go home, back, to the recently used app and lots of other things. If I hadn't gone with iPhone, I'd definitely be still using that if it's available for Android phones without rooting etc.

I am acutally really impressed by Nothing myself, as I consider myself a 15 year old enterenpeneur and I even bought the Nothing Ear Stick. However, after 2 months, I have a problem with the sound not being equal and since its out of warranty I have to pay for the repair when I didn't do anything with the product. I really hope someone from Nothing can be please see because I really see a bright future with this company.

I think it looks pretty nice, especially that transparent curve on the back edge. Definitely interesting new design. I dig it. I do still prefer the Phone 2 more though, especially the glyph. I do wonder though, as time goes on how hard is it going to be to manage two different phones with different glyph types? Since the 2a has a reduced glyph count, some functions may not be the same as they are in the Phone 2, right?

though i am sure this wouldn't be seen. I have an issue with the phone 1. I have no idea but i went out from my room to check on my phone. Boom all of a sudden nothing works the power buttons are not working, vibrations are gone, Black screen etc. I checked for physical damage or swelling in the battery yet no issues. But the phone wouldn't even charge and i am pretty sure this is a battery issue where the battery drained itself completely its been few hours but i am not able to figure out what to do where to get the battery replaced.I am not sure if the country i live in has a replacement for the batteries of the phone.

It is so sad that the lights are only around the camera and not at the bottom half also the pattern at the bottom would be better if it is connected to the top part like making a connected channel from the bottom to the top

I would love to see a Nothing Phone mini with a center camera hole with a symmetrical Glyph interface that has either white or rgb (but not multi, more like select 1 color from the color wheel) and has a flat glass back like the Phone(1).

A little bit of a letdown for me was seeing just how many of the previous glyphs did not make it to this design. I always thought that we can make the glyphs channel more information through not with colors as many comments suggest, but through varying patterns. For example I could have the top glyph flash three times and then the bottom one for a messenger notif, and then I could have all the middle ones flash for whatsapp. With just 3 glyphs, while still possible, I feel like this might feel a little janky and less readable (if it even ever happens). But all in all, while it is not for me, I can totally see how it can be for someone else. I'll just happily carry on using my Phone 2, which features design decisions that resonate with me way more.

And please USBc 3.1 or above so we can connect to HDMI to T.V. rather than Screen share.

I'm actually digging the design more and more as time passes. The initial shock was because leakers tend to show renders and what you're actually looking at is how good the guy/gal that did the texturing and lighting did their job.
