Wow, this video is so helpful that I'm gonna have to watch it twice to really get all the juice ❤ thank you for bringing the importance of angle and critical thinking skills to note taking, I usually feel frustrated because I just write everything down but then never review it 🤡 haha just subscribed, looking forward to learning more tips from you!

Thank you so much, I love all the tips! Deciding how much I should write down when studying to make my session most efficient is definitely something I'm still working out so it was a very helpful video. I'd love to see a comparision flipthrough of some of your notes to see how your note-taking method (and the amount of notes probably 😂) changed over time with your Japanese level. The more difficult resources I'm using the more I'm struggling with what I should note down and what to just let go, especially when it comes to vocabulary and grammar so I'm curious what that process looked like for you 😊

Thanks for a great video, I feel like I waste so much time just taking notes that I sometimes don’t even look through again, trying to convince myself that it will help me remember what I’m learning. I’m not sure if you’ve covered this somewhere already but how do you retain your knowledge? Like how do you actually remember your new vocabulary? I’m struggling!

@@arinoyume Thank you! How often did your review your grammar points and when do you decide it's time to tackle new ones?

Maybe for each level I reviewed all the grammar points 2 to 3 times over only! Not that much because I have been doing quizzes otherwise, and immersing a lot so I did not need more 😍

Wow, what a thumbnail. "You're Taking Notes Wrong"... For someone that used to always say its up to your individual goal and do what keep you motivated, that thumbnail doesn't seem like you at all. May this is the direction it takes to grow a channel but it is sad to see...

Yah, I get where you’re coming from! Luckily it’s only for the thumbnail 😍 this time the tone is purposely a bit pushy, I’ve always alternated between pushy and motivational/inspirational because that’s how I naturally push myself too!! Please don’t think too much of the thumbnails 😂
