According to the NNA (National Notary Association):
😵. “California has some of the most stringent application requirements for Notaries in the U.S. - including a required education course and background check - and the mandatory exam is among the most challenging in any state. The test, based on the state’s Notary Public Handbook, is proctored, and applicants must score at least 70 percent in order to receive a California commission. Renewing Notaries must also take the exam again each time they wish to renew their commission.”

Hi Helen's Light. That's a great name. I was nervous about the exam too. It is tricky so don't just rely on the course. The course kind of open my mind to the notary language. The little notary handbook tied it all together. "You can do it!!"
Hello from the Mobile Notary from LA (lower Alabama). Alabama is about the easiest state to get your commission in. The recommend the NNA as a source of training. I added about 400 hrs of You Tube University, many such as your channel. I made it work. Good luck.

I heard California and New York are both hard and I'm from NY but when I took a peek at the California practice exam I thought I was studying for the bar exam LOL in any case i2m self-learning take the notary exam without any Court I only have the book so did you finally passed the California notary exam

Hi Ebony, you can purchase a physical copy of the book from your state website.
My state New Jersey required me to take an exam and I can’t pass the exam for the life of me 😭. Can i take the 6 hrs course thru NNA.

Mann. I'm sorry to hear that. I know it's frustrating. I know a Dr who bombed 💣 his state exam 4x"s. The 5th time was the winner!! You will pass too. Yes you can take the hours thru the NNA. Good luck. Don't give up.
If you fail the test the first time do you need to take another 6hr course and bring it with you to the testing site in order to re take the exam?

Hi Tiffany. Thanks for joining my journey. No you won't have to take the 6 hour course over. Just have or send your original proof of passing the 6 hour course to the next text. Guess what? My friend who has been licensed for years thought she knew it all. She didn't study and failed the test. The test is No Joke. Study everything I mention in my videos and You will definitely pass the second time.

What's up Milton. Yes I passed it!! I was sweating bullets but I did. The downside is it's taking forever to get commissioned in Cali. How about you? Took the test?

@@miltonwelch8619 30 days? Are you in Cali? The state says 6 - 10 weeks. And it took me the whole 10 weeks to receive a message saying there was an error on the application that I needed to fix. Basically I passed in Jan and received a letter in April.

Hi Ebonyyy. Oh no! You didn't catch them? Ok, here they are... but remember, *No one can provide the notary test questions word for word because: 1)The questions change (2)We sign papers agreeing to NOT Disclose specific Questions & Answers. But I can reveal the test question topics that are HIGHLY likely be on your test so YOU get easy points. LIKELY QUESTIONS: 1) Make sure you have the Notary Handbook for your state 2)Know how many hours of course work is needed Two? 4? 6? answer (6 hours) 3)Know who approves this course of study (Secretary of State) 4)How many hours of training are needed to renew? (3 hours) 5) Is the 3 hour refresher training acceptable after the notary commission has expired? Yes-No? (No) **I have 20+ more videos with more focused test tips. I hope this helps. I want everyone to pass the test "The First Time".
