Not Treating Mommy-Dearest

Ойын-сауық

The plaintiff says the defendants are her son and his wife. She claims they stole her shopping cart, so she has no choice but to sue for the money to buy a new one. The plaintiff’s son says the whole thing is ridiculous and claims his mother is crazy and jealous of his wife.

It's quite prevelent in today's world, every race, religion, and creed. When mother's make their sons 'their man', in all aspects except for sex, this is what happens when husbands or boyfriends are not in the picture. Until sons have the cajones to put down boundaries, this will continue. It's disgusting imo.

I’m sorry I have to disagree with a judge as far as adults might having to move back in with their parents…….my mother raised me to be very independent and responsible but at one point in time I was struggling however I never told my mom. When she found out she was upset and told me if I ever needed her financially or if I ever needed to move back in with her it didn’t matter how old I was she’ll always be in my corner. I would never want to do that but at least I know I have a loving mother that will help me when I’m really in need. So just because an adult has to Temporarily move back in with their parents doesn’t make them less than anybody else. Sometimes people fall on hard times and need help I don’t see the issue with that.

Don't be fooled by his well dressed maybe his father not around to teach him how to behave and respect his mother. And she didn't turn her back on them she took them in her house but they didn't apprecaite her and I'm sure his gf parents did the same to them otherwise why didn't they go to her parents for help if she's the problem? to all men if your mother and gf/wife they don't like each others, then don't bring them with you when you visit your mother leave them in the house or at the mall or where ever. And if your mothe house dirty bring some house keeper to help your mother cleaning her house. Just appreciate what she did for you when she was pregnant of you, deliver you, fed you spent money in educate you and raised you.

I think he's doing the right thing by handling his mom from a distance because until she does some self-work and realizes that she's a part of the problem their relationship will always be toxic. Create boundaries and stand on them I don't care who it is. You can't repair a relationship with someone who feels like nothing they do is wrong and it's not their fault, parents included.

And the girlfriend did ZERO wrong. So far, I haven't heard 1 thing in the case that was her fault. The lady kept abusing her and she kept accepting it. It was the boyfriend who finally called the cops and encouraged her to get the protection order. So it's odd you all are putting blame on the gf when she literally did zero wrong in this case. She was just there telling her side of the story. She was the victim of everything. Y'all want her to be quiet so she can't share her story of abuse??? lol Yall are odd asf. Watch the case... They tried to replace her cart and was willing to replace her cart with the exact same cart. They weren't going to buy something extra extensive for someone who was just assaulting them. They wanted nothing to do with her after things blew up and had a protection order out against her, so was doing everything through the cops. They needed a picture of the cart to do an exact replacement, but the cops wouldn't give them a picture. So they picked any cart. And... she never had a receipt for her cart for them to give her the money for it. It wasn't until way after everything blew up that she bought another cart and claimed the cart cost $60. This was way after the restraining order and them seizing contact with her. Y'all forgetting all of the details and nick picking what you remember to support the abusive mother. It's obvious the mother is crazy, especially assaulting the girl several times in front of people for zero reasons. She deserved everything she got, and she should have sat in jail for a few days. It sounds like she's turning old and senile. And sounds like they can afford a hotel/motel, but why waste the money when family was near... family that they took time off and stayed with before, while she was sick, so they can take care of her? It can be true that she's nasty with roaches in her home. It didn't sound like they brought all of their stuff with them, only a few things. So not hard to clean up a room and stay in it for a few weeks, until their home is situated.

You all don't listen. They didn't steal it in the first place. They were trying to be peacekeepers by replacing something they weren't responsible for. They had no idea how much hers costed which was a courtesy buy. It must be a cold day in hell when family cannot go to a family member's home....some of us are close. The mother invited them there btw. The mother assaulted that lady twice as she stated she didn't like her. The mother may be suffering with a jealousy problem, mental issue, or just may be nasty anyway.

For my daughter, its her sister-in-law that is crazy jealous. She's mad that her brother is with my daughter and that they have kids because she has some sick twisted emotions over her own brother, which is totally inappropriate. The problems have been going on for YEARS now and I just hope that my daughter's sister-in-law can get out of the way!

About the roach thing- My grandmother (may she Rest In Peace) lived in a low-income building in Far Rockaway, and she was super clean and OCD about her little apartment. There still were roaches because it was a building issue. Sometimes it's not the person, but their environment. Treating a house is different than treating a building or several connected units for roach (or other insect) infestations.

Too true! I moved into a spankin brand new apt, freshly painted, etc., and it STILL had roaches due to the building in San Francisco. That poor manager tried everything short of dynamiting the unit😂. He was such a nice guy, but at the end of the day I was out of there in one month. I just can’t live with roaches.

i believe them whole heartedly at the end when she said he was a good son to her. I think he grew up from the bottom and turned his life around and his mom wants to stay down there and be bitter towards her own son. No excuse for that mothers behavior. NONE. I hope that girl continues to love and support her man. It's clear they are a team of their own.

Super sad how common these types of families are, coming from one...I can only empathize. No one picks their family, some get lucky, some get a bad deal and some can't be happy no matter what...but you can pick your friends and surround yourself with positive people. You're a product of your own environment.

The way he blamed the wife at the end kind of annoyed me. I have a feeling that issues were in this family long before he met his wife. Even if she did step aside I don't really see the mother ever allowing repair between her and her son. I really felt for him at the end when his mother said those terrible things to him. So sad. I have three sons and I could never speak to them that way. His mother seems like the kind of woman who is never truly happy or satisfied with anything you try to do to reconcile the relationship.

After one of the assaults, they got a restraining order against her, so they can't contact her and she's not suppose to contact them. So there's no way to get a copy of the receipt to give her the money. Even so, she waited weeks after everything blew up to buy a new cart and claim the receipt represented how much she originally paid... basically lying again. They went above and beyond for that old lady.
