I've always been a dog person, however, when my brother passed, I couldn't let his cat go to the local animal shelter. Now he's a exasperating part of the family, but loved by everyone. Even the neighbors.

I’d never been a cat person, always dogs for me, until I moved to Dubai from Uk 22 years ago. My daughter nagged me for kitten from a litter her friends cat had had. Then a month later a found a kitten covered in paint! I took him home and so it progressed until i had 8. Then time passes and so do they 😒. I’ve had 12 cats I’ve kept indoors in total, with 3 indoor cats remaining and another 2 outside, which I’m not aloud to bring in. I’ve saved countless others by feeding and caring for them. I now feel I came here to help cats! But my husband doesn’t like them now after years of damage and the last one I took in likes to pee around the place. I love them though, even though it’s made a moor dent in my marriage. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My husband wasn't a cat guy until he married me. Our cat was a rescue kitten from a crack house. She loved her dad and stayed by her dad's side for two years. As he sick until he passed away. She knew something was wrong and stayed by my husband's side 24/7. Cats are really smart.

I always considered myself a 'dog person', and I am but in the last ten years my parents have homed 3 elderly cats and I now know I'm also a 'cat person'. I'd love a Maine Coon Cat to share my home, with Penny (my Cockapoo) and me. Maybe in a few years. Penny still needs a lot of attention.
