Don't feel bad, I think many of us do get some sort of good feeling when people press the like button on a pic you posted. In my case I post drawings here and there and for the coming 2 days I get reactions, likes retweets and such, (also negative ones but not as much) and at first it gives me such happiness but then I feel like I have to maintain those likes and new follows by "ok... Now I need a better drawing than before" it's stressfull. Lately I haven't been on the platforms anymore , and it feels great. Thabkfully for now it's not something we need to do for a living but still is a very popular part of the world right now

@@rogve5868 yes three points are like the low-lives on that universe. Notice how the server guy is also 3 points... 2 points are plain miserable people. And 1 point people are literally the bottom of the bottom, living on the streets, having the jobs that nobody wants and living off scraps, etc.

When I watched this episode, I was Overwatch player obsessed with Ranking system. That was slowly turning me into an asshole, I had big risk to loose my friend that was with me for 10 years. When I watched this scene I saw myself in Lacie's behaviour, it made me so ashamed of myself I was literally demoralized. However I overcame this and my friendship was saved, my personality was saved, all thanks to this TV show

This is one of my favourite episodes of BM, many traits in this apply to real life and social media

It's been 3 years since I left facebook, twitter and instagram except youtube. It was not easy at first since i'm an artist and advocate. It was not easy especially when you have a huge following. But one thing I learned after being offline for so long on social media, that we’re in a constant state of bombardment; bombardment of communication and notifications. There isn’t any release. It’s a constant wave of noise, and just bc you’re “connected” with people on social media doesn’t mean you’re actually making meaningful connections and having meaningful interactions. And for another, the amount of connection people experience through social media gives the illusion of widespread friendship and camaraderie while masking the lack of real, person-to-person interaction. It makes you realise who your friends are. After 3 years on break nothing beats real person to person interaction.

Literally just change your privacy settings. All these people saying “I feel so judged by all these strangers on insta, what a terrible world we live in :(“ would have all their social media problems solved if they stuck the privacy to “only friends”, unfriended anyone they don’t know and blocked anyone they disliked. I ran into many superficial individuals in the financial,real estate industry and family members who will only hang out with individuals for social media influence purposes and for future prosperity. @@LvyPK I live in China and I have never heard of this social credit before until recently. After doing 5 mins of research, I can safely say that it is not what you think it is. I have to admit that the Chinese gov is not great, but Western governments are not much better, using media to misrepresent things like social credit in order to paint China as a dystopia.

This guy working with the coffee shop is amazing I'm proud she rated him and talking to strangers just made me feel weird because you don't know them unless the neighbor knows you and sends you pics of his family because he knows your family sounds good.
