Hi Mike, less water will cure your clogging issue also the wheel alignment is crucial, the blade will not jump off if the alignment is correct. I've had my LM29 for 5 years and love it but, the most useful accessory that i've bought ( and i have many ) is the auto water start and stop. it saves so much water, and windshield wash in the winter! I'm now a subscriber and cant wait to see your progress as you learn the trade! Happy sawing from Cape Breton Canada!

Hello from out on the mountain! I totally agree. I have slowed the water down and figuring the alignment out. And yes the auto water lube kit is well worth it. Thank you so much for the comment and for subscribing.

You've generated a fine series of video's, I too have a new LM-29/30, only sawed two logs just to try it, it appears to be working well, still unsure how to read the lumber scale properly. All your video's are certainly well done and a good guide for anyone assembling the Norwood LM30. I believe we've made a good choice in purchasing the LM30 from Norwood. Great job, great video's. Norwood should consider making a assembly video for the LM30, using your video's.

Hello from out on the mountain! Thank you so much! I like the mill also . Unfortunate I have reached out to Norwood and they have no interest in working with me. Thank you for the comment.

@@MountainMike01 Brian, I've done 4 videos on using the quarter scale that you might find helpful; Link to the basic use of the quarter scale kzread.info/dash/bejne/m4GbpbBmdcfRg7w.html Link to the first of 3 videos I did to correct a serious issue with the quarter scale kzread.info/dash/bejne/apuE2sagopTXmsY.html These videos should keep all of your boards a consistent thickness. Good luck. Dave

Mike, It may be too late but the baffles in your sawdust chute are there to stop a broken blade from shooting out of the protective housing. I would recommend reducing your lube flow and checking the chute regularly as you are sawing. I will say that the baffles DO look too small though. Good luck Dave

Hello from out on the mountain! Yeah too late, I have already cut them off and no issues now. Have reduced the lube flow also and everything seems to be working great! Thank you so much for the advice and watching. Take care.

Did you get the digital scale? I'm having trouble installing mine. Directions from Norwood were terrible. Could use some help

@@MountainMike01 I’m just getting back up on the mountain I’ve been down in the San Francisco Bay area helping my daughter move out of the city I think I opened up a can of worms with my jeep I’ve got Mission Creep I’m thinking maybe I should pull it out of the garage put a tarp over it and get my mill built before it really starts snowing what part of the country are you in if you don’t mind me asking

Can of worms is a dang good way to put wiring. That is the reason my poor 4-runner sits patiently waiting for me. Been to San Francisco many times when I was young. Interesting place to say the least. Im located in Eastern Oklahoma. Not real Mountains I know, but for Ok. It is. LOL

Funny. Small world. I bet that was a long drive in a Deuce and a half. I just made that drive this spring for the first time in 20 years. It was as long as I remembered lol but I love that drive. What town was your dad from?
