16 degrees Celsius.... cold 😮?! I'm looking from Sweden and here we have right now -9 degrees Celsius 😅. In 16 degrees I wear shorts and a top and put on the fan because it's too hot, lol.

But I guess your inside temperature doesn't go below 22⁰ c even if the outside temp is freezing 😉 I suspect there might be a slight difference in insulation and heating abilities between Scandinavian and Fillipenese homes.

Our winter looks a lot better than than they feels. In my opinion it's best enjoyed trough a window. Honestly I'd much rather be on a beach with nice palm trees and stuff right now, or an a sailboat in the Mediterranean or something. I guess it's worth experiencing this kind of winter once, but living here all winter every winter is not something a lot of people enjoy. Norwegians might tell you they love winter, but there is a reason why every one of us are super happy as soon as spring comes around. And a lot of the nostalgia people have for winter revolves around getting inside to a warm fireplace and having hot chocolate or something. It's the equivalent of torturing ourselves so we feel really good when the torture stops. Nobody likes jumping into that ice water, but getting out of it feels really good, especially when there is a sauna right there. We like to romanticize our winters a lot, and the scenery can be spectacular, but the reality of it is more just waking up to darkness then going out freezing while scraping ice of the windshield before going to work every morning. And that's if you don't slip and break your neck on all the ice that's formed in the driveway. If we're lucky it's snowed all night, and then we'll have to dig the car out before we get to leave. Unless you're rich of course, then you'd just put heating under your driveway and then complain about the electricity prices. They'll say things like "can you believe it cost me over a thousand dollars just to heat up the outside of my house? How will I ever afford that mansion in Spain I was planning on renting for my second annual vacation?". Not even joking, someone actually said that to me while complaining about how "little" they where getting paid. And that's the same kind of person that will get mad at you for not sorting your garbage to save the environment, while flying to Spain and back twice a year. The hypocrisy is unreal over here. Sorry, kind of went on a rant there lol. Oh well, thanks for the video.
