I am frankly lost for words Nick They are doing exactly what they did before putting a bike out the only model that they currently do at £40,000 pounds when fuel prices are astronomical and we will undoubtable be in a recession shortly , and they think that these bikes are going to sell like hotcakes . Crazy or what 🤪 I will say it looks very nice maybe even a work of art but it is safe to say that not many actual bikers will buy it and those who got stung before well if it was me that would be a no .👍

Agree mate, if only the business end of the company would see they are in a good position to churn out modern day classics at affordable prices, they sell look at Triumphs success. Thanks for tuning in 👌

As a Norton Dominator SS limited edition owner I was really hoping the new Norton company under TVS were going to release a sport bike in relation to BMW/Ducati/Aprilia etc etc, which was similar to the V4 SS/RR previous era at a realistic price. The price for this V4SV with this spec of £44k is absolutely ridiculous,

@@MOTOUK1 Agreed, what about the iconic Commando, then there was the proposed Atlas and Nomad, I understand race heritage in relation to the TT, I really believe that Norton has got this product horribly wrong.

Last two years Modern classics have been so popular, good sellers that’s where Norton need to be and if they don’t hurry up BSA will be back with the Gold Star however we are still awaiting that too. For Norton to get back on the ladder soon their design guys need to churn out these modern classics and at a competitive price. Shame really as with the right mind set they could be so good and current. They certainly have deep pockets atm with TVS I just hope they don’t blow it.

The V4SV has retained the V4SS looks and many other features, but the V4SS, worth £44,000, was the limited plated run of 200. If this bike is an average production machine when placed against Ducati, Aprilia, BMW etc., the price does not make sense. When you look back at the sales performance of the V4SS, because it was a limited run, it sold instantly, and the secondary market pricing was almost a 50% uplift. TVS has allowed a toxic back story to be created with V4SS Owners and the Norton Management Team. Instead of having the V4SS (or Gen1) bikes as flagship Norton, they choose to trash talk the bike and place owners in a very dark place. As a V4SS owner who has invested in restoring his V4SS, I believe Norton has made a significant miss-calculation in handling the V4SS issue. I used my V4Ss in this year's Distinguished Gentleman's Ride in Barcelona; it grabbed centre stage and was featured in just about every social media post. Just like the Domiracer: It's a collectors bike. Probably a better bike, but they won't be ridden much. Let's hope they don't go out of business this time around. I'd personally respect Norton more if they produced a £20,000 machine that could compete with its many rivals. Rather than this boutique stuff.

I just dont understand the marketing here. Yes we know its there flagship model , but where's the bikes for the masses, are they also due to launch very shortly?

to be really honest I would rather go for a Royal Enfield Himalayan that oozes character and wouldn't be frightened to get it dirty, the V4SV is top of the market bling that real every day riders wouldn't entertain, it would not last 2 minutes in London before being whisked away in a shipping container, have to laugh at get your order in now, don't think there will be much of a rush.

But this bike produces 185bhp! And also due to its limited run number it doesn’t have to comply with euro 5! I’d say no due to the price tag!
