Fun as always 😁👍 Top tip if you have a conger/strap conger take you into a hole keep the pressure on but not full pull sit the rod on the tripod and wait for the tip to spring back that's the conger coming out the hole/rock and just reel in the fishing gods willing you will hit 🎯 it...... Most likely to bump into you both at some point local to local 👍

I know, out of all the rods it has to be a penn wrath 😅 Those fxd 80 reels are good but with the deeper spool, not additional any more. But for the money, they are solid reels.

Good to see you lads out fishing again. looking forward to yours and Johns videos and a year of some good fishing. hope to bump into you guys one day. happy fishing and tight lines

That means alot and that's exactly why we do it! No doubt you'll bump into us! Glad your enjoying the videos! Hopefully, we'll be onto thr bigger fish soon, not long! Next for me and you guys will be abit of float fishing for carp, probably spice it up a touch and do a race around a lake. We both start and have to catch a carp and move to the next peg, so stay tuned.

I usually fish that part of the menai over low water, the mark before the green👍 deep water and can throw up anything lol. Keep up the great videos👌👌

Well, I want to go back there geared up. A few years back there was a 70lb conger from there, so I believe. I've seen photos too.

@@thatsabite good luck mike a fish ov a life time,mine 67lb off molfra rocks took a boat to hook it for me mike.

I used to fish the mani 2 hours before low then I fished the slack water and then probably about 2 hours up depending on the pull great video buy the way all the best from Paul from Staffordshire England 🇬🇧 👍 👍

is there still a fishing spot on the straits not to far from the meni bridge, we know it as the slate jetty. a large square fit about 3 anglers . and it was just full of slate

That place in Old colwyn ain't safe soon summer fisherman here but can you fish off the new pier they have build you can keep meni straight I don't like congers lol tight lines

The new pier is still under construction, it will be a fishing platform.

When you hit a Conger you need to reel hard to stop it going in a hole. Never mind, go again!

🤣🤣 true, however... we are in the winter. We've had some good conger etc this winter mind. A few months now and we will be onto the big bull huss, conger and tope hopefully. We've got a boat trip organised in March aswell as some coarse fishing on the way.
