@@thatsabite oh dear , that’s a bit 💩, I deleted a whole video once a few years ago when I used to edit through KZread studio, I deleted the clips but went one too far and lost a 40 minute pigeon shooting video , it was one of the best I’d done too , loads of action etc , I’m still annoyed years later 😂😂, 👍👍🤠

unlucky mate, still a good watch though, i have the fxd 70 is there much difference between 70 and 80 or is it just a bit more line? also where you said can you see anything wrong, what was it i couldnt tell but im still new so not sure what im looking for lol
I haven't seen the 70s but it'll be down to the spool size so yes, more line. They fly of the spool during the cast. Just got some new line so hopefully it'll fly even further to where the smoothies are. See if I can now get onto them 😂 On the part where I said can you see what's up... I haven't been hooking the crab and positioning the dongle right. The hook was just proud like a normal hair rig.

Cheers mate. They're pretty effective to be honest. I'm still learning with them but having that bait hooked first and then position the hair to suit worked wonders.
@@thatsabite I have only been sea fishing for just over a month and I have learnt loads by watching yours and GKJ videos even had the pleasure of meeting him down the pier one day after watching your video of fishing the wall with him and catching that massive conger. There was a photograph of me in the local fishing shop with that conga I was only in my 20s and then in my prime for sea fishing there is some beautiful places around Anglesey and there’s some dangerous places as well I’ve been well with it though they have been that dangerous I have had to tie rope around my waist and climb down the rocks to land fish loved every day of it. That is a dedicated fisherman if I must say tight lines lads and all the best..🥹👍🏻

I am 67 now and miss the days when I could drive my car straight out on the breaker wall one day I went out and had about 30 dogfish all day. Got pissed off with it started to pack up and hit a conga about 6 1/2 foot long made my day gave me a break from dogfish Coldwater like you’ve got at the moment but I Do miss the day when the gates were open now. I can’t walk 100 yards. I wish they would open those gates again even if it was just once before I die love it.😢
God bless you mate, that's hard to hear! Well, unfortunately they are closing it for quite sometime now as they are about to start work on it as it's needed. It really is a cracking place! If you want chances of a conger and want easy parking, try next to llandudno pier on the left hand side as you start to go around the orme. You'll be able to pull up right next to the wall and chuck your rods out. I've had some bug conger there!! If I have to help you get this conger, I will!
Great spot that Mike fished it a few times as I live in Denbigh seen some monster smoothies come out of there and Billy's loving the videos all the best
It does fish well most of the time, and it's done some good fish to be fair. Just good to be out and enjoying it. Thanks for the support!
Always look for the reasons you catch then if those things aren't there don't go fishing. I'm surprised your mate Rich looked so hopeful to be honest. 5 seconds into the vid and I knew nothing would happen. It's not about luck it's about picking the correct conditions, learnt that the hard way.
I'll have to disagree on that. At the end of the day, it's about catching fish but sometimes, if the fish aren't there or the conditions aren't right on that said venue but you can't travel to far to choose a better location due to underlying issues, is it not great to just be by the water, with friends regardless of catching or not? Isn't that really what it's all about? Just being out there? It's not all about catching, it's fishing and relaxing the mind. 👍

The mag will make the cast die in the air do t get me wrong I started with the mags but now wouldn’t look at them I don’t do pendulum casting so in my opinion they are not required
