North Cascades National Park in Our Lance 825 Truck Camper | Washington Part One

We’re back to the US, taking our Lance 825 Truck Camper to North Cascades National Park in northern Washington. The Cascades are a rugged, alpine paradise with jagged mountains, forested valleys, cascading waterfalls, and more than 300 glaciers. We took a detour to see Mount Baker, camped in a lush forest, hiked to the Skagit River, learned about the park’s history with hydroelectric power, and faced my fear of heights for a fantastic view of a 250 foot waterfall. By the end of our first day, we were left wondering why is this one of the least visited national parks in the country.

What an awesome video thanks for sharing! How would you compare Vancouver and North cascades in terms of scenery and feeling? Would you say that it's as beautiful as Vancouver? Thanks for your thoughts

Thank you! And great question! In terms of scenery, both are extremely beautiful. But as far as how they feel, very different. Even though Vancouver is surrounded by mountains, water and a lot of greenery, we knew we were in a city and had access to great restaurants and all the conveniences. The North Cascades being such a remote national park had no amenities including gas, so we felt like we were truly immersed in the wilderness. It all depends on what type of adventure you want to experience!

@@ZAR66 how cool! We’re so happy you got to experience this beautiful park! It was definitely cool enough for light jackets in June, but we also got a good bit of rain too.
