He did? I don’t think so. Loki’s children were welcome in Asgard, but the gods were so uncomfortable especially with Hal’s appearance. So, yeah Odin gave Loki’s children specific place. But it’s mythology, only known to time. We can’t have the real, detailed and same version.

  • @Evergreen0021

@Samantha They took Loki's children. I think it was Thor and Tyr that went. Sure, Odin released Jormungandr and gave Hel her realm but he did kidnap them. Loki also lost Slepinir to Odin. All I was trying to point out that it was Odin's meddling that caused Loki's fury and Fenrir's too. If he had left things alone the future may have been different. Thanks for commenting. I love the mythology and of course you can interpret it as you want. I encourage it )

Also there's so many brill story's. Hod blinding Balder with missletoe dart because of Lokis jealousy . Lokis gave the Gods their weapons. What needs a book you have tried to quash in too short of time imo lol.

Yes. Well..."jotun" really aren't "giants" they are instead the same type of beings as the gods, and the gods intermarry with them a lot. But Odin's mother Bestla is a jotun descended from Ymir. The exact lineage varies a bit depending on what source you look at, but Odin and his brothers Vili and Ve are like great-great-(great-)grandchildren of Ymir through Bestla and half jotun overall.
