@@nicholascainjr6887 I don't think Marvel ever sued DC (the Shazam Captain Marvel predates Marvel being called Marvel). They simply snapped up the name rights while they were in limbo and when DC got the rights to Shazam/Captain Marvel, they could use the character but couldn't name any comics he was published in Captain Marvel. Hence his comics being called Shazam DC can still call the character Captain Marvel (and they did for quite a while) but they renamed him Shazam for simplicities sake.

@@nicholascainjr6887 You still a bit wrong, DC sued Fawcett bc Captain Marvel was a copy of Superman, the way he look and even some of the stories. Fawcett lost and they couldn’t use the character in any of their comics anymore. But they still have the rights to the character. Years later Marvel acquired the name, but not the actual character. Then years after that DC acquired the character.

@@EternalDensity to be fair, Grace has a point as to how the TVA is VERY similar to the Commission and how both shows seem to involve time travel and agents maintaining the timeline

TVA - "Time Variance Authority." Inter-dimensional bureaucrats who protect the stability of the "Omniverse" by keeping timelines stable and stopping them from spilling or corrupting the timestream. They've run across different superheroes at times. A TVA director created the three Time-Keepers, a trio of strange time-powered beings who worked with them but later became corrupt, so that seems to be the three faces and three figures in the offices.

Mind stone might represent the moment in her memory when she lost vision, maybe like located in the basement or something. It may be the trauma that caused her to collapse into this imaginary world and someone is keeping her in this constant state of self-made illusions (probably the neighbour - Agatha :P). It will be soo cool and emotional, I cant wait!

You're doing Raya a disservice by comparing it to avatar. Avatar wasn't the 1st show that had a brown skinned girl with dark hair wearing a blue shirt. There are many stories in that culture that has this. It's because there's so few and far between that has been seen on tv,that the first thing we cry about is copying. The lord of the rings weren't the fort movie about elves, dragons and quests. There's thousands of stories about a prince trying to rescue a princess from evil. Just because these cultural stories are few and far between doesn't mean they're copying.

The guy in Ms Marvel is Henry from The Walking Dead btw! Also, in the comics Carol Danvers used to go by Ms Marvel for decades on end (there was a male Captain Marvel, so 70s logic dictated she be called Ms). Kamala came after Carol had taken the mantle of Captain Marvel and Kamala based her costume on Carol's black Ms Marvel costume. Micky is right on the Blade story, Mahershala Ali called Kevin Feige after he had just won his second Oscar.

Yeah, Carol only took on the mantle of Captain Marvel in... 2012 I believe? Before that it was Mar-Vell, who was portrayed as the female Kree scientist trying to help the Skrulls in the movie.

While I agree to some extent on Raya and the last dragon you also can't say that they are blatantly copying Korra/ATLA since they both are inspired by asian and inuit culture. They are not copying thee shows they are taking stuff from those cultures. But I agree with the fact that the character looks very much like Korra and Katara and some aspects of the story is very similar.

I'm getting a Quantum Leap vibe from the Loki series.

Ms. Marvel first appeared in 1968. She later became Captain Marvel. The new Ms. Marvel took her name from Captain Marvel’s original name because she was a fan.

Kevin Feige did not officially confirm Oscar Isaac as Moonknight during the conference while most of the updates/new release titles were confirmed with casting so I guess we'll wait & see what happens. He'd be great casting.

TVA is from the comics, they are like a crime unit that deals with people who commit time traveling crimes. The show will have Loki jumping to different time periods in history (multiverse maybe) and is said to be a time traveling murder mystery or fixing the timeline show.

Pooping on Star Wars and yet Marvel is literally doing the exact same thing with the MCU. Geez. Lol Also, Vision had the Mind stone. This takes place post-End Game and ties directly to Multiverse or Madness. Most likely all Mephisto’s doing. And that’s not a laugh track, they actually filmed it in front of a live studio audience. Which is cool. With Falcon and the Winter Soldier they can’t show you too much because Black Widow hasn’t been released yet and I think there may be a connection between them.

Don't let the anti-diversity population get y'all down too much. When I watched Spider-Man: Homecoming in the theaters, I literally heard a dude say "why are there so many black people and Asians? It feels forced," which baffled the hell out of me as an Asian guy who grew up in a very diverse community. And Queens is super diverse. Huge Korean population.

I’m old (not real old, but pro’lly at least 15 years older than you all). My first black superhero in cinema as a little kid had to be Lando, and he wasn’t even the good guy in Empire Strikes Back initially. It was Billy Dee. And when you look at most if not all of the action figures and such in the 70’s there were little to no African Americans (save Muhammed Ali maybe. I had a Mego size action figure Once). I wasn’t reading comics as a 7 year old except for the occasional Spidey or DC comic that came across my table. Super Friends was still on television and Black Vulcan was there. But I didn’t quite buy into him particularly. I wish it was Black Lightning since he was in the comics at the time. Did not know about John Stewart or Luke Cage though they existed. Again, I was not reading comics. So who is on TV/cartoons:film and coloring books/toys. So yes... representation matters.

I collected What If..? comics in the laste '80s, early '90s, during what was apparently their second volume years. And this is such a great execution of what felt a bit hokey at times, but having as much of the MCU actors do the voice cast is amazing and their choices are also terrific. I remember having or reading ones like: What if .. Spider-Man had never married Mary Jane? What if .. Kraven the Hunter had killed Spider-Man? What if.. Spider-Man married the Black Cat?

Fun fact: Kamala wasn't the first Ms. Marvel. In the comics, Carol Danvers was called Ms. Marvel for the longest time before she took on the mantle of Captain Maervel, and Kamala then took on her old moniker.

It's gonna be interesting if they actually would give us Wandas and Visions son with the Wandavision movie because that's kinda sorta how he came to be in the comics. If you don't know: Wanda has a kid with Vision which would later go by the name of "Wiccan". Not only is Wiccan talented enough as a teenager to be a legit candidate for the position as Sorcerer Supreme already (meaning he is a potentiall replacement for Dr. Strange), he also would later go on to marry the son of the originall Captain Marvel who goes under the code-name "Hulkling". So yeah, it'll be interesting if Marvel is brave enough now to introduce one of their most well handled, openly gay super heroes into the MCU (Both Wiccan as well as his future husband Hulkling were founding members of the "Young Avengers" a team founded by kids and successors of the Avengers)

Sons* Wanda and Vision have twins. Who, technically speaking, are not Wiccan and Speed. Wiccan and Speed are reincarnations of their twins, that were actually just constructs created by Wanda using part of Mephisto's life. Which actually leads me to believe they're going to introduce Tommy and Billy in WandaVision, and tie in Mephisto between it and Multiverse of Madness (which supposedly is also introducing America Chavez, a member of the Young Avengers alongside Wiccan and Hulkling, as well as Kate Bishop who is being introduced in Hawkeye).

Consider this, Marvel met with Krasinski 3 different times in the past year and a half, and met with his wife twice, it's hinted at a lot it's beyond fan rumors at this point. Jim and his wife will be in it, his wife is really close with marvel, I think that's where the idea of him being in the F4 even came from.

She Hate Me is Anthony Mackie breakout role.

Ms. Marvel is a legacy name. Carol Danvers (the current Captain Marvel) started her carrier as Ms. Marvel. It’s less lazy writing in Kamala Khan’s case and more a passing of the torch, in the same way the torch of Captain Marvel was passed onto Carol Danvers. It’s sweet, trust me.

Yeah like it was said in the comments below Ms Marvel isn't a lazy naming but has reasons behind it. The MC's idol is Captain Marvel who prior to becoming Captain Marvel (When Mar'Vel died) was named Ms. Marvel. So she took that name to pay tribute to her hero. It's actually mentioned when they announce Captain Marvel 2 as Iman is already at location for filming for that movie with Brie Larson.

Similarities between this teaser trailer and the A:TLA universe: Main character is dressed in blue, has hair up in a similar way to Korra, a character wears a painted mask(that really doesn't look like the Blue Spirit mask, but has a similar style), the people seem to be divided into 4 groups, the world is unstable and peace needs to be restored, the main character has an animal companion, and the only hope for peace is the last of its kind. Similarities between A:TLA and the original trilogy of Star Wars: In the first installment, a young man must accept the call to adventure and accept his role as the only one who can restore peace to a world at war. In the end, he uses a power that only he can use to score an instrumental win against the cruel empire that is in control. In the second installment, the character experiences new trials that make him grow stronger, and eventually finds a master who can make him more powerful than he can imagine. However, after learning that his friends are in danger, he recklessly abandons his training, and as a result the empire wins a crucial victory, pushing our heroes into a corner and ending on a bleak note. In the third installment, the hero leads a desperate attack in order to defeat the empire once and for all, but is almost defeated for good. However, a previous antagonist of the story (who we didn't know shared a familial bond with our hero when the story began) redeems himself and turns against the empire, ensuring victory and restoring peace to the world. Stories can share plot beats, especially when they're described in very generic ways. What makes them good is how the story is told and how they vary from establish formulas. It's so lazy to criticize something (especially based on a teaser) by saying "oh this is so similar to something else I've seen" when pretty much every good story is similar to some story that has already been written.

One thing to remember is that when he disappeared, that was him using his teleporting ability, not the Tesseract. Is possible he teleported somewhere else on Earth, then got rid of the cuffs and mouth restrain, then use the Tesseract, but it stayed behind?

The Red Skull mentioned he had been in that place for about 80 years, since the events in First Avenger in other words. So he was transported in space only. Remember the scenes might no be in order. So, when he see him in desert not might not be where he was sent by the Tesseract. But, what happened to the Tesseract? We never see it in the trailer.

Just some tidbits y'all might find interesting, spoiler free. -Kamala Khan is essentially the new generation's Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Where everyone can find some aspect of themselves in her character. -Falcon not donning the shield is likely an important story beat from the comics. I won't say too much, but "#notmycap" was a thing in the comics. -Moon Knight is a badass. He has dissociative identity disorder which makes him a unique character. He wears white because he wants his foes to see him, some kind of psychological warfare tactic. -Spider-Verse -I just feel the need to point out that Spider-Verse was a Peter story before the movie with Miles came out, just incase non-comic readers complain. There's another Spider crossover event called Spider-Geddon that featured Miles more heavily. I loved Spider-Geddon. As an Asian, here are all the Asian superheroes I know off the top of my head: -Shang Chi -Quake (half) -Sword Master (from China) -Amadeus Cho aka Brawn - basically Smart Hulk. He has control and is a more human form -Seol Hee aka Luna Snow - created (in real life) basically after the explosion of Kpop -Cindy Moon aka Silk - Korean-American who got bit by the same spider as Peter Parker -Aero - was a China specific comic run -Sunfire - from Japan -Sam Chung aka Blindspot - Daredevil's apprentice and my personal favorite.

I just hope they put some RESPEKK on their 1st, most popular and longest running Tv Show, Agents of SHIELDs name ! and they show up on Secret Invasion with Fury

There are so many fun What If..? comics. Some of my favourite are: What if Wolverine became Lord of Vampires and What if Spider-Man kept his 6 arms. There are a lot of good, old ones if you want somethung different to read :).

They actually have Feige video going through everything which includes some little news you might have missed here.

Peggy won’t be Captain America bc she’s British. She’ll be Captain Peggy, bc Captain Britain is different character that Feige has plans for. Also, that’s Steve in the big suit that is created by Howard. He will be skinny in that episode😆.

I'm pretty sure in the end of the What If trailer it's the real Doctor Strange from the MCU's Earth that showed up against an evil one, because WandaVision, Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness and Spider-Man 3 are gonna explore the multiverse and will be connected to each others

WandaVision, Spider-Man 3 and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness are connected. After Wanda appears in her own show she'll appear in Doctor Strange 2. It'll work like how Infinity War and Endgame were connected.

The thing is most confusing for me, about Marvel's plans moving forward, is that Agents of S.W.O.R.D, said to be a sort of continuation of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, was not only announced a while ago as a Disney+ original but also now has a release date how come it is not mentioned at all?!

Piracy is the reason an Investor will still doubt investing in Disney's new venture.

Interesting fact: the actor playing Shang-Chi in the new kung fu Marvel movie is the same guy who got "floored" in The Expanse season 3

It’s gonna be about how the government doesn’t want Sam to have the shield. They talked about how, in their eyes, It wasn’t Cap’s place to give the mantle to Sam. They’ll also get into Eli Bradley, the first Captain America and how he was covered up and replaced by Steve Rogers.
