If she would've pushed it out after Motivation, they would say she shouldn't have rushed it. For those that are wondering why she didn't drop music after Wild Side success, She was transitioning from her sub label, Keep Cool that is affiliated with RCA. Now she's directly under RCA and I see that the CEO is involved a lot with her project now.

Normani is dealing with the fallout of PTSD. She was heavily attacked by bigoted fans of 5H and one of her own bandmates who joined in. Psychological attacks. She saw images of herself being hung shared. Her parents and extended family saw the images too and intervened to stop the harassment. I hope she’s been able to seek some form of therapy in a healthy setting in order to process her emotions around it all and the trauma. She seems to have a strong family support system and a close knit group of friends who are keeping her covered and in good spirits. She handles social media with a long handled spoon these days and I say good for her. I hope she is able to find peace within or outside of the music industry. No amount of success should strip someone apart. Especially not an artist and person like her. She’s a star for reasons beyond the limelight. We all can see it.
