I really enjoyed this speech, she did good especially considering th fact that she’s shy. I really like seeing shy artists making through the industry. I enjoyed even more the speech because just as normani, I’m shy (introverted and not really sociable), I’m a black woman and I like singing. I’m 22 and she’s 25. I relate a lot. She’s showing me that I don’t have to be extroverted to succeed. I can succeed while being myself. There’s room for everyone. She’s doing great. I admire her a lot and wish her the best. There’s always one ☝🏾 that gets out of line I’m a true fan of all queens 👑 when they up or down the tenacity they have to push through and be beautiful and resilient is a gift god gave to all women I feel like this speech was for those who have been instrumental in her life this year and after her hiatus pushed and help motivate her to get back in the Game Normani loves Onika period and so did Megan now they way y’all twist how people move forward currently is beyond me y’all think just cause someone is human and don’t acknowledge your favorite at the time that they aren’t appreciative of what contributed to their growth and success they are I never heard Megan say she wasn’t grateful for hot girl summer that was a milestone dream for her when it happened. Then after the lost of her mom she was in a vulnerable position by the time she started seeing a number one on the chart drowning her self and pain in her work and music to survive. This is still about Normani but I’m using this analogy to say what Normani was going through when she took her break from music was similar to Megan when her mom was ill and fighting cancer and she decided that being there for her was more important than her career at that time. These are who saw what she went through not only gave Normani recognition but through actions did things to help get her back in the game and gave the impact she need to prove she here to stay I’m talking right here right now
