Normani said video is coming. I feel RCA is holding back from funding her the way that she deserves to be funded, so I think Normani is trying to be strategic. Yea girl we definitely been waiting on this song for two years. May 2022 we got a tease

Normani confirmed that Wild Side is still on the album. So we know 3 singles so far - Wild Side , 1:59 and Candy Paint. She has also been teasing a song called Big Boy which is also an uptempo banger that has the same energy as Candy Paint but with a Southern twist .She confirmed that Big Boy will be the intro for the album. There is also a song she has with Brandy that was inspired by Brandy's song Acapella (Something's Missing).

Candy Paint was initially supposed to come out in 2022. Initially 'Wild Side' was the lead single released in July 2021. Then she released 'Fair' as the second single (at the time) in March 2022. 'Candy Paint' was supposed to come out like 2 or 3 months after Fair as the third single maybe with or just before the album was released. My theory is that after Fair underperformed , the label delayed everything. Also it did not help that a snippet of Candy Paint was leaked to the internet from the Fair listening party before Normani officially teased or released it.

Yes unfortunately I’ve been listening to a 1 minute leak with horrible quality for the last 2 years 😭🤣 but also she did tease it at her fair release.
