I feel like she's kind of shy until she's comfortable around someone. I want Normani to understand that she deserves success & has the talent to do it big. She should show her silly side more too! It's so endearing

Could be shy, or still recovering from 5th Harmony. That experience seemed to have done a number on all of them except Camilia. She didn't seem to want to talk much about that season. Appreciate Terrell for not pushing too much and reading the room, not that I'm surprised. He's a great interviewer.

@@ariesspring2161 It is most definitely lacking confidence, sadly. You can hear the hesitation in her voice and she really isn't giving 100% which is sad because she's got a great voice. During the earlier days of X-Factor and Fifth Harmony, she belted and confidently sang. While she doesn't have the most "strongest" or most technical voice, she could benefit a lot from vocal training and getting comfortable with her instrument because that tone and those runs are just wow! Sad to see that everything she's been through sucked the confidence out of her voice. That would explain why she's so silent, nowadays. I want her to win so bad.

Dopamine sounds like a sci-fi movie soundtrack. Dopamine is if Rihanna made an entire album of songs that sound like “Sledgehammer”. Edit: I said that to say it’s not an album that I personally would fully play 24/7. Outside of Wildside, Still Tippin and Big Boy everything else sounds like music I play when I’m winding down at night, maybe with a blunt, trying to catch a vibe before I doze off. It’s a good album, just not completely the vibe I was looking for.

This interview and episode is truly special and absolute gold! I do wish Normani utilized her whistle register/tone more on the Dopamine album cause her range is wild! There were probably songs that showcased it among the 150+ that she recorded and that were pitched to her. I hope she'll showcase it more on future albums/songs and performances!

The thing about it is she has plenty of time to evolve as an artist she's uber talented, humble, and beautiful so all the haters can kick rocks because she is far from done! Her success thus far with her singing and dancing is phenomenal to hear and watch. She is one of one! I thank God for you cousin Terrell for continuing to give all these amazing artists a platform to be transparent & themselves outside of being a "celebrity" everyone doesn't want to be on social media or in the limelight all the time. Cherishing your loved ones is important & I can applaud anyone that tries to balance both for the sake of their mental health! Love both of yal forevaaaaa!
