Probably a stipulation in her contract tht she could not win. Would be unfair since she had an extensive dancing history. This was mutually benefical though: it gave Normani a more diverse audience and grew DWTS audience.

@@lotusmiragemusic, We know Val has had so many great partners. It's Normani who's one of his best partners. She was his last great partner on DWTS. Creatively, he had a partner who exceeded expectations where every female professional dancer on the show was jealous of or celebrated her extraordinary talent. The male dancers wanted to dance with her. The contestants, even the judges, loved her as well. Normani danced as well as the professionals. No other partner Val has danced with has ever made such a historical impact on DWTS.

@iKandy Normani had the "IT" factor, and she deserved to win season 24 of DWTS. Having a dance and gymnastics background never stopped Nicole, Jennifer, Laura, Meryl, etc., from winning the mirror ball. Natasha and Shawn have gymnastics and dance backgrounds too, but somehow, you failed to mention them. Girl, bye.

The same Lindsey who got on one of Emma's w/Rashad to throw shade at Normani for having a dance & gymnastics background during season 24. It's the hypocrisy, denial, & double standards I can't stand when it comes to giving Normani the respect she deserves during her time on DWTS season 24. I stopped watching after season 24. People lack common sense & waste time trying to be right while being loud & wrong as two left feet.

The thing i don't get is if it's such a big deal why even have constants on there who have experience if you can't win because of it, just stop inviting the celebs who do wouldn't that make more sense. I really believe they know exactly what their doing when they invite stars like zendaya or Normani- to reach a broader audience that's all ( younger and Urban audience).

I read that she couldn't win since fifth harmony was going on tour at the same time as the dwts tour. But Heather received the first perfect score of the season and was eliminated that night so who knows lol

If you watch all these episodes or videos, pay attention to Normani's footwork, which is really good and because of that, in my opinion, she should have won.

Its been 3 years and I'm still mad she didn't win. If you didn't know the show you would think she was a professional dancer

He gave her so many sweet kisses of motivation and affirmation.

Initially I thought she was one of the professionals doing a dance with Val!! She's AMAZING!!!

They need to bring back a competition with all the great dancers who we enjoyed seeing and who lost in the season normani zendeya and the others

This season Gabby signed first for the tour so I thought another steal was coming. However, Charli D'Amelio was more astute and signed for a few dates which gave her the real fight for the mirrorball ending with Charli's victory

Y’know it’s hard to get over such injustice. It’s been what 3, 4 years and I still can’t stand that she did not win. Makes no sense.

She was the clear winner..imo..such talent and emotions!

Their "Wonderful World" performance was one of the top 10 performances of all seasons of the show. Everything was on point, choreography, storyline, wardrobe, music arrangement, the band. Everyone looked like they were having a great time!

Update Val is getting married and reports are that Normani has been invited and will be a the wedding.

@@Yourdadsfavourite Alan Bersten is one of the professional dancers on DWTS and Bonner was a contestant on there the same year Normani was there. If you look up Normani, Val, and Alan's Jive Trio dance, you'll see everyone.

Her name is Amber Riley, she was on Glee, I have watched this show since it first came on, I stopped watching it when Mya the singer lost to Donnie Osmond when she was clearly so much better, I think they gave it to him because he was more well known but there were a lot of black women that were robbed.

I've been a fan of her's since 5th Harmony days! She Chiu is beautiful and talented! I enjoyed these excerpts of her performances with Val! BLACK GIRLS ROCK!

I came here from Season 29 (2020) and the same thing happened to Skai Jackson (Skai didn’t get at least in the finals). I feel bad for her cuz she really improved and was so much better than one contestant👀(people who watches S29 know who I’m talking about)

Tbh the entirety of Season 29 was lackluster and none of the contestants really stood out to me. Skai was definitely the most improved though
