Laurie was one of my favorite competitors ever on DWTS. I love her energy, her sass, her cheerful nature, and she and Val had such an amazing chemistry. She definitely deserved that mirror ball!

She is a pro!

After she retires from gymnastics some day, she can definitely be a dancer

She is literally CAPTIVATING!!!! I know she was born to be on the gymnastics floor, but she might have been born for the BALLROOM floor too!!!!

I feel like Val utilized her athleticism but didn't lean on her gymnastics to compete. She really learned all the dances well and was outstanding.

I have one word for Laurie & Val....FABULOUS!!!

She is so enchanting to watch. Well deserved win.

Laurie showed great strength while performing her grandmother’s tribute dance, “Hallow”. It was Flawless. I loved the improv Val, Laurie and Max did in the 2nd trio performance 😂😂

100% class, all the way. You had it won from the Cha Cha. Thank you for bringing Maks back, I've always had a pash for him. You go, girl!

Watching her performances throughout the 23rd season made me know that she was gonna win the whole thing and I never realized that she would surpass both fellow Olympic Gymnast and Gold Medalist Shawn Johnson and Bindi Irwin by becoming the youngest winner at age 16.

The best performer I have seen on dwts Such grace, style and charisma.Laurie you are awesome

She's 💯 and I love when she came off the sliding board and did a no hand walk over and that thing in the air 27:40.

Very talented dancer, nailing each toss and turn. Her footwork and movement is defined and intricate.

Robert Johnson i think was like he was supposed to just push off each other and go their opposite ways. But i think he pushed too hard accidentally and she lost her balance cuz she’s older. I think he was freaking out internally the rest of the dance

still no explanation that I can figure out why Carrie Ann and Julianne gave them just a 9 for their final paso doble??----either a producer decision or the 2 women wanted James to win so they just gave those 9 scores rather than a well deserved 10!!---than James messed up(although Bruno still gave he and Sharna a 10 anyway!)

well, this was really great and funny, I want to say that Val is pretty good as a teacher and it is a big challenge to dance with 16 years old young lady .. if you know what I mean .. no passion, no sex .. and it is still perfect .. I am glad they won .. well deserved

Chloe Becker nah Laurie and Val had a much better relationship. A proper big brother and sister bond. Also Val even said in a interview towards the end of the season Laurie was his favorite partner ever. And they bonded more over the four month dwts tour.

teamsuperand1D 1 Val and Zendaya have a brother sister relationship too. She’s one of his only partners who he has really stayed connected with. I actually heard that Val said if he had to do the show again with someone he’s already been partnered with, he would pick Zendaya. But I think Laurie and him have a great relationship too
