Two legends together, so sad that neither are now longer with us. Once bumped into Norman Wisdom in the mid 90s, what an absolute gentleman, shall never forget that moment. RIP good sirs.

He was 83 when he did this! God rest Albania's most favourite Western comedian.

When ever I see him i just fill up. Hes so lovely as a kid i watched him. I'm 54 now still watching him. They broke the mold when he was born a true Gentleman God Bless Him

What a legend! One of Britain's true great all round entertainers. Sir Norman was amazing: he didn't change over the years, just aged, and still had a good singing voice into his 90's. I remember watching his films as I grew up in the 70's with such fond memories. RIP. 😂❤

In the 70's me and my brother would catch a bus and walk one mile to the Cinema to watch this legend on the big screen. R.I.P Norm

I cannot believe earlier this evening I was watching this, thinking how amazing this man is and within a couple of hours it has become 'was'. What sad news! A very funny man. Possibly the last of the 'greats' of British movie comedy.

Christian values used to be more embedded in the national psyche, as opposed to the post-modern moral vacuum we live in now. 2) people had less distractions ( eg electronic media) and related more to one another.

I'm not an American (but if it could have been possible..!), I think Norman Wisdom would have been the better president of the U.S.A of AT LEAST the two of THEM! Seriously AND with jokes where they would be in their right place and timing!🌹 ⬇️ I saw Sir Norman Wisdom for the first time when I was 16 years old(1980) and KNEW I had to remember that name! 💖 Sincerly, God bless, gentlemen, and have a nice day. I wish I could have met this gentle man who gave so much pleasure to all those who watched his movies and interviews. Isn't it strange how we type away our feelings and appreciation to those who have passed and obviously cannot read our posts, it is of course in no disrespect to the person who posted this and for which I thank you kindly. I see Norman live at stevenage, I never stopped laughing and then met him at the end of the show, even then he still had me laughing, there will never be another Norman, a legend

Norman Wisdom, a comic legend. Up there with Chaplin, Keaton, Laurel & Hardy. Performed his own stunts as a result of his abusive father used to beat him & throw him across a room. He learned how to fall. Homeless & penniless he was told by a pie van owner to get a life & join the Army, he did and they fed him 3 square meals a day, was the making of Norman. Musician & army boxing champion he become. Later a staunch supporter of the armed forces.
