A man from humble beginnings that made it to the very top of decent general entertainment. I am sure he had a good time filming it as we ALL did watching it. Thanks for the posting and also the chance to comment.

Watched every movie as a kid back in the day and always wanted to meet Norman, well I did on his last cruise in 2007 Norman and his PA Ann sat next to us on the ship for breakfast every morning. He went on his daily run around the ship with Ann and he would stop and still jogging to have a chat and would say blimey how many miles! and joking he would head for the ship's lift. Very honored also to watch with Norman in the ship's cinema his first-ever movie, I remember Ann mentioning that she would be retiring soon and also about a documentary on Norman when we get back. Always made me laugh and as he kept saying I did my own stunts you know.

A truly great comedian who was and will always be loved by millions of people! Norman Wisdom a fantastic human being whose movies were more popular than the original James Bond movie! I have enormous admiration for him and there must be many people with similar respect. What a funny man!! A truly GREAT Englishman!

Norman would probally of been alive still today if he was not bunged in to a care home he died of sheer boredom his sons wife kim stayed with him for a week at his home in the isle of man to look after him and said he kept falling over to me that was all lies it was a plan to get him in the care home made up with his son and daughter so none of them would have to look after him a get his lovely home sold like they did with his rolls royce and motorbike without normans permission sheer greed
