A diablo "pro" won't have CSGO installed on his pc he only has time for Diablo The hours I have clocked on this game every ladder since 2005 patch 1.11B makes lama look like even more then a noob then he is.

Its so inspiring to watch diablo playthroughs/speedruns whatevs, havent focus on diablo since path of exile came out, but thanks to you ive been playin diablo more and more!

@@masonbrennan2653 id say its too competitive, i enjoy takin it slow and not speed and such, over 15k hours on it, but its not that fun anymore - back to diablo for those reasons. In d2 i have totally like 20k hours

Back in the day Plauge-Zon was one of my favorite pvp classes for the lulz. Named her "GoKissAkara", good times.

Is there a way to stop the popup when you shift-click to allocate your stat points? I didn't notice Llama having it but I get one every time

I will say, from years of playing a plague Java. Is nice that is only 40 points to max because you need a secondary damage source for the minions and poison immune in sanctuary. So you can actually go lightning fury as secondary damage or I used to also like to run bows. Plague throw then bow switch for multi shot / guided arrow.

Hey MrLlama, a nice fluffy carpet or curtains could increase the audio quality by reducing the reverb. You could also go with absorber plates on the wall, but that could be overkill. In general you want to avoid hard flat surfaces.

Unless they made some changes to controller since i last played this character was rough with that as there was no option to manually aim to the side of enemies.

I’m having fun with my Javazon, one thing I never realized though is just how often you have to go to town to replenish your javelins. And stack size was even buffed recently, I’m surprised anyone would deal with that tedium before the buff.

the hybrid bow guided/plague javelin is a monster at duels

I prefer this style of video doing it online battlenet since I have a feeling most of the viewers are playing in that fashion. Many are playing single player too but I would think it is a minority. Great series so far !

All the hate for old assassin, but they rocked in HC (now super good with current patches)

Excluding all other bonuses except for synergy from poison jav: Plague Jav lvl 20 : minimum dmg 6056 Minimum Dmg with Trangs : 7570 Minimum Dmg with +3 to jav skills: 8940 So the +3 to jav skills is almost a 48% increase in dmg.

Only from 20 to 23. On higher skill levels raw damage per invested skill point increases but percent damage per invested skill point decreases

@@JosephMagicFlower Yea, but he was only trying to decide which gloves were better, in which case a +3 jav skills is a better boost than the 25% trangs is going to give him.

I'm still waiting to see you try to build that sweet arctic blast/hurricane Druid build with the cold sunder charms and show us if it's actually viable now because even tho everyone is hating the arctic blast it was one of the fun things for me to just play around or even rush thru norm and nm. I still do wonder how much buffed that build can actually be and how far can you go with all of the cold dmg buffs + on top of that with the new sunder charms! I guess I want to see it also because nobody's ever done it (at least none of the major streamers/KZreadrs). :)

What’s the value of a 39ED/7FHR jewel? Gotta be at least a HR right?

Can you please do some of these play through a for 2.5 as well! I’m having a hard time with hell getting through certain areas. Specifically places like act 2 maggot lair, and act 3. Seems like everything is lightning immune. I have staff if TP and decent resistances but can’t make it through lair without dying multiple times and once you die in the lair, you aren’t getting back so you have to restart. Any strategies you have to get past this would be super helpful!!

Someone mentioned in the video, a Barb merc with plague sword. Does the damage of the Poison nova from the sword stacks with your poison damage from the javalins? Or they overlap each other?

As far as I know, only the highest damage poison applies. The plague sword is good because of the Lower Resist curse and the -Enemy poison resist

@@KingJerbear That's what I was thinking. The lower Poison resist is very interesting. Is it possible to run two Plague swords on act V merc? That's would help a lot with those Poison imunes. Regarding the damage itself, thank you for the clarification.I always though it added on top of the damage done by you!

Talking about cannot be frozen, everyone is always saying tyreal's might should get a buff; maybe it should get 'cannon be chilled' that way it's not OP but it does give it a little niche use.

Can you combine different poison sources to get some advantage? With thrown vials or something on javelins... When they pierce, the clouds overlap? I remember the poison damage being very complicated in D2

It was complicated once. Since then, it became simple, while guides continue to complicate it with pedantic obsession with getting the duration correct to the tick. Just add the DPS's of each individual source and thats your total poison DPS so long as it stays applied. Once upon a time the way durations combined had an effect on DPS. That hasnt been the case for a long time now tho. We are talking about going way way back. Adding a poison source always increases dps by the amount of dps stated on the source now. Poison is now the simplest damage type.

My big kicker is that I'm subbed and I didn't get my update you went live... guess I'll need that sub 🤣🤣

I used fire potions on swap early to compensate the kill speed.

The default no longer being Ladder is the weirdest change they did. I just started online (been offline since launch) and got to lvl81 with my pally until I noticed it was non-ladder. Harsh!

Agreed, and the second worst part is they changed it from a clear readable text box to a random icon that long-term players don't recognize

Does poisoned bow work against chapter end bosses?

Ladder characters are no longer at the top of the list for some reason, and moreover, the characters that I played yesterday are no longer kept at the top of the list after I log out

i remember plague amazon - or any poison build for that matter- was always useless asf. back in the day

Plague zon is great fun and is capable of clearing P3 cows on hell just as easy as lama is clearing it on normal (proabably even easier and with more run/walk speed also faster). Trav is also nice with 1 spear clearing all of em. Chaos can be a little tricky without -poison res on your gear, since the fire breath dudes are very resistant.

Later on (if you're playing ladder) you can pick up a poison sunder charm for fairly cheap or find one of your own from terror zones and this build will be smooth sailing everywhere. As with any build that uses sunder charms, your best damage stat will become -enemy poison resistance (to a maximum of -100%, and sunder charms bring immunes to 95% so you will need a total of -195% to cap it).

oh yeah, venom. You don't really lose poison damage, it still uses poison bit rate damage (per frame) but caps at 10 frames. So let's say you add a tal in a weapon, it won't do 75 damage over 6 seconds, but it's going to add the bit rate to venom. The sad part is that tal adds roughly 1 point poison damage over 10 frames. Gotta keep hitting for venom to always apply. But venom is the highest bit rate poison damage in the game, so adding it to poison jav should increase the damage.

I think that's kind of a lesson learned thing, as you play hardcore you learn where the seal bosses can spawn and where to stand to avoid them. Each death basically adds to your knowledge bank of another thing to be mindful of as you play

@@KingJerbear you really should learn these things in softcore before going hardcore.. funny enough, the same applies to irl, you should go through some porn flicks/mags as a kid so that when you finally get to business with your girl for the first time, you won't try to penetrate her belly button..

My predictions: Be good through normal and first half of nightmare. Act 4/5 nightmare will SUCK. Then try and farm a sunder charm in act 1 hell, then it should be ok. For plus skill gear don't forget peace, and it might even be worth trying to get splendor on switch for bosses etc if you can find a lum.

The problem with your plan is you need to have beaten Baal on the specific difficulty with that specific character in order to do TZ's on that difficulty. Which means can't immediately start running TZ's as soon as you hit Hell.

It's my actual hc ssf sp build and one of the easiest gameplay I've ever had. You only need 20 points LF to deal with poison immunes. 20 to valkyrie for bosses and crow control, 1 point to all passives and hell P1-P3 is a cakewalk, even with budget gear. A very safe build cause you never go melee, as long as you play carefully. For souls and range packs just use decoy and slow missiles and nothing can really hurt you.

Like someone else said you need to beat hell Baal to even get to TZ's for sunder charms normally. Although their value is so diluted now from how common they are you can get one pretty easily from someone else. Some people are literally giving away sunder charms for free.

would +poison damage small charms increase the damage of plague javs?

i believe it would just add poison to the javelin that strikes the enemy. not the skill plague javelin. but with pierce it would effect multiple if it hits them behind the target.

The only important thing on this char is not losing your 1g javelin as the weapon doesn't really matter till like hell. This build is very viable, just requires patience. One thing I'm curious on is if you can throw poison jav then swap to plague for benefits, or any weapon with like facets in it. Poison doesn't reset till the duration expires. While poisoned any extra poison hits will deal one tick off damage and that's it. Poison damage has a lot of nuance to it. Poison zon doesn't want any poison damage on gear as it can mess with applying damage from clouds. Another weird thing about poison skills is wanting to focus on synergies more than main skill to try and keep duration low. You kinda don't want a merc with this char, it can mess with monster pathing and make it a pain to poison things.

@@kristopherleslie8343 which is why you want to keep the original javs for 1 g repair on them and save a ton of gold over the run. Eventually getting a replenish jav makes for a nice replacement. This build is a ton of fun and great for being chill and relaxed.

You can do charged strike if you want with that don't feel like it's a cop out. The fun of using those poison skills is what you choose to pair with them. Whether that be charged strike or magic arrow etc. Can even go real crazy and give her four trang-oul pieces and flamebellow or skystrike then call down meteors on poisoned enemies who are stuck attacking your decoy
