Thank you so much for this videos! I've been playing Diablo when I was 9/10 with my dad and my amazons were ALWAYS a disaster... I had to stick to Paladin to go through the game. Yesterday I finally killed Diablo for the first time with a Javazon and I was SO happy! Today I killed Baal too and finished Normal. Now, before switching to Nightmare, I'm going to create my first ever Bowazon and see who I prefer in the end and play Nightmare. 😊 These playthroughs are fantastic because your little suggestions here and there while you are playing really make the difference (Andy bug, act 3 farming in the Kurast Temple, act 5 farming in the Frigid Highlands just to name a few). And you're always super clear while you speak, which is fundamental for me since I'm from Italy. Gotta try to watch some of your twitch streams, I need to hear the Twitch voice 🤣 Keep up the good work!

Bowazon is really bad. Its the weakest Melee Build for me overall (if you look to the common builds, not like punch barb)

My favorite part about your vids is how you cover the actual entire game and not weirdly specific single scenarios. Every other content creator I’ve seen only posts content about lvl 99 characters with 10+ high tunes needed for the gear and stuff. Totally unreasonable for most people that play the game.

Had a lvl86 Magic Arrow Bowazon. Players 8 all the way through to Act V Hell was almost at Ancients but a game crash deleted her. Remade her now. Loved that Amazon.

Finally! I'm so happy, this is one of my most favourite class build (another favourite is zealot), full bowazon.. I always start to put my first 5 stat points into Dex (or at least 3) in order to equip hunter bow on 1st town, on p1, u can one shot most of the mob (best if can get 3os stuff with some cheaps) for awhile in few earliest maps, easy few shots to big guy..

This seems to be the standard "guide" style, every other D2 player goes with. Even their "budget" builds, are like "Oh, get Enigma and get CtA and all these items that requires level 75+". Gets kinda old, really fast.

@@MikeRomulus Hah, yeah. To me, when I think of a "build" in D2 it's "how do I get through the game with this character?". But a build according to every forum ever is apparently what you look like after you finished playing the game, at which point I have to ask myself, what's the point? Haha. MF builds are a bit different I suppose, because they have a purpose.

I did a lightning fury / freezing arrow zon years ago based on a NightFish guide, and I recall using all of my cold damage small charms to add cold duration. Maybe the damage also added, but charms have pretty low cold damage, so it didn't add much if any.

Bowadin's are so cool! Would love to see you run one! Doesn't have to be a strict bowadin, use zeal and crushing blow for bosses.

I am learning so much from this guide. Being a noob D2 gamer that didn't get too far this is perfect. Especially how you explain the charms and rings and 5 into energy. Like you said so many guides are for endgame players. That will never be me lol.

You able to set up a video on how to set up custom keybinds? Mine only work on F keys (F1, F2, etc) can’t figure out why the rest won’t bind to actual keys.

@@starojda Add a Might Aura on top and I died in less than half a second, before I even realized what happened. I love Harmony to death as a super accessible midgame runeword but the speed can sometimes make you perform questionable moves. I learned my lesson :(

Is the Immolate arrow any better now in D2R? I know Firewall is quite something, or at least much better than it was, in D2R. Was curious if the fire DoT from immolate gets the same treatment from the faster frames.

How long will it take to farm the necessary equipment for a Angelzon to beat a Javazon?

Bow Amazon is such a cool build, especially the elemental variant. Too bad almost no one plays it because it is considered "weak". A perfectly rolled Faith is one of my 2-3 favorite runewords

If magic find stacks with merc when they get killing blow. Does +exp from that one item stack? So you an get +10% anni and you and your merc are using the Ondal’s Wisdom, can you get +20% exp if your merc gets the killing blow?

Bowazon is my favorite class, great are,yet not much damage

I found a 5os GM Bow with +3 bow skills. I was thinking if I packed it with 70-80%ED of jewels and 20-30%IAS how would that work for a multishot bowazon? Eventually I might be able to put a CTA in it. I remember having a Faith multishot bowazon that was so OP the game wasnt even really fun anymore.

Love your guided playthroughs. Wish you were around 20 years ago when I played my first bowazon.....it was an immolation bowazon....terrible idea :)

Oh wow lol. I did this over the last few days. Did it without a teleport staff and the worst part of the game was the viper temple in hell. My valkyrie solod one of the ancients. I went fire in normal and half of nightmare and swapped to cold and valkyrie for the rest of the game. Just used a zephyr most of the game.

They need to remove quantity limit from arrows... should stack almost infinitely imo. Fine to make it a resource, but taking up inventory space is lame. Perhaps a unique or runeword that doesn't require arrows would be nice too.

Since this was a strict bowazon I was hoping this video would use some crossbows which are usually never used. Oh well.

I am playing with 1.14D Plugy mod and I am stuck in Hell with my bowazon at the beginning of act 2. I have decent resistances but am using a spider bow with the Edge rune word and exploding arrow. Just not putting out enough damage and need a better bow. My MF gear is at 324% but I have not been able to find a better bow for the life of me.....

whats your opinion on /players8 from start till end of nightmare vs rushing content on /players1 and grinding bosses for loot and levels? i feel you still have to grind bosses after players8 also but at least your level is higher and if you were lucky you got some decent drops along the way. is /players1 just that much better that /players8 isnt worth doing? this question isnt specifically for the bowazon btw

I'm no expert, but I play around with the players setting all the time while leveling to try and find a comfortable mix between speed/exp. Like just setting it to p3 or 5 while playing through and getting a few more levels early on, then grinding bosses a few times on the highest setting that character can do in a reasonable amount of time. This will all vary depending on the class/build obviously. Getting Beetleburst near a waypoint in Act 2 can be a great place to grind on P7/8, even in later Acts.

If I am using Javelins I do imbue those. Not too useful for Bowazon though, you want a grand matron bow to add faith into.

Trying out a physical bow multi shot build. Depending on how bad Hell is I may end up doing this build. Half fire / half Ice. Doing pretty solid damage on maps NM but Duriel was a bitch

Would be interesting if they made it so uniques and set items scaled more with your level (adds X bonus based upon character level) that could boost damage done and make many of them less useless especially relative to some of the rune words. Don’t need to do it on all of them, some of them are just so inadequate and you can find rares as good or better sometimes

I remember my build being amazing, but remember mostly everyone wanting a Windforce, or that buriza xbow, don't remember the name. I can't wait for this game. I've been watching D2 content for the last week. I hope D2R has a community that stays for the long haul.
