Love the texture of Mama noodles 👍🇦🇺
I don’t like the taste of lemongrass in food preparations but Mama Tomyum is so spot on that I actually enjoy it. By the way, the noodle texture is PERFECT.
I did enjoy this format. Sort of like variations on a theme. I am also very interested in trying the creamy shrimp version.
Instant ramen is my #1 comfort food, so I appreciate your thorough reviews. That being said, I love eating the bricks of noodles uncooked, and Mama is the best 😅

I had a few bites of the fragments while I was cooking these. They’re incredibly tasty as a crunchy snack!
Mama Creamy Tom Yum is my favourite instant noodle Tom Yum. The UK version is bigger 90g and may be not exactly the same.

90g sounds like a way better portion! These were all 55-60g.
Creamy Tom Yum is probably my favourite.. with that said, i sort of really dislike the texture of Mama noodles when they're cooked. i like the soups, and i like the noodles when you eat them as a snack (they're pre-seasoned and all).. but there's just something about the thin noodles and their sort of chalky, snappy texture when they're cooked that puts me off. I prefer throwing other noodles in the soup and use the noodle block as crunchy topping for a salad or some other dish

@@thenoodlejourney speaking of using them in a salad.. I just found out there's appearently a somewhat "traditional" (as far as instant noodles go) Thai salad that uses Mama noodles.. Haven't tried it myself yet (i've just been using them crushed up as croutons basically) but there are several videos with recipes on youtube.. might be worth taking a peek at
