Coreross you should try SPT (single player tarkov) with FIKA installed (coop mod), it is infinitely more engaging and less bullshit that the official PvE. You can set it up in a way that the AI are doing their own thing and have a purpose in the game and are not stationary turrets or aimbots that sit on places like they are on the live PvE mode.

Fights can drag quite a bit and are not binary as in they are completely stupid or insta head-eyes you. Specifically with a mod called SAIN, bots have distinct "personalities", some are playing slow, some are aggressive and are pushing you. It also has suppression mechanics, bots seek cover etc etc. In general it is MILES better than the experience you can get with the official BSG AI.

I can barely get my friends into vanilla games let alone have them setup modded games. And I want to see how this version progresses over the years

@@coreross Awh, that's unfortunate. But yeah, I occasionally dip into PvE mode too to compare and contrast it with the modded one since I have access to it too, however I am pretty sure the devs gave us (the EoD users) only 6 months of access to the PvE mode which is very absurd. They did say however that they are planning on making the PvE mode purchasable on its own, so you might wanna look out for that.

Long time viewer of the channel since r6 siege released. Very cool to see you play tarkov pve. But I can wholeheartedly second the recommendations to try SPT with the coop mod Fika. Understood about your reservations for your friends. But I just started playing SPT a few weeks ago, and yesterday got a friend set up to play coop games with me. A million times better than actual tarkov, and ten million times better than their version of pve. Check it out, maybe give it a try on your own initially. I promise - will be time well spent. Loving the Tarkov content Ross! Dont listen to the few that decide to comment on something they know nothing about. A lot of people are enjoying PVE and the reddit hive mind is choosing to hate on it. EOD owners have access to PVE now! Keep up the great work Ross! Looking forward to more Tarkov content.

@@poobjuice Yes they can, they just have to deal with the consequences. If he truly enjoys it.. he would play it off of the channel. Especially when both videos he's done on it have been accepted very negatively. It's not good for the longevity of the channel.. nor the algorithm and could very well kill the channel. Is that what you want? its not what i want.. i love this channel.. i don't want it to get screwed over because of something this simple
