@@ThisIsNubuik Being a pussy has nothing to do with it court systems at least here in Canada have a back log of stuff going back several years and most lawsuits take several months to even build a case and with BSG coming out and stating all EOD owners will get access to the PVE mode in waves, pretty much making any lawsuit null and void since they are going the players access to the content.

Just base stalker is a great FPS. Then anomaly is a chilled out/hardcore option (depending if you're used to vanilla stalker games or gamma) and then gamma is a brutal thing if you're new but very exciting if you know the ropes. EFP is for gun nerds and tacticool EFT enjoyers.

Was going to mention those two mods myself. Absolutely get a Tarkovesque experience but in a large open world. While it's not an "extraction" shooter you can select options such as campfire mode and when you die you lose all or some of your gear and wake up injured at the last bed you slept in. I literally have two separate installs of Anomaly one for EFP and the other for GAMMA. Great games.

MAJOR word of warning on Hunt: Showdown. The game is currently in the worst state it's ever been in regarding cheaters and game integrity. The anti-cheat basically does nothing, players can hide their stats and profiles so that you can't report their steam profile for cheating, and the in-game report function also does nothing. On top of those issues, there are numerous undetectable exploits that EAC can't even recognize that give players huge advantages. One is the use of Nvidia profile inspector to reduce graphical quality to a degree where foliage, rain, fog, and thin walls no longer render, making the game look like Battlebit. The other is the use of config file edits to completely remove shadows from the game. Combining these exploits makes the game's visibility massively increased over what the intended experience allows.

@@rumsbums3113 nah huuge is a shitter. i play in high mmr and it's just complete bullshit. i've played numerous fps games in the top 5-1% of the skill bracket, including hunt, and right now the game has no integrity. over half of all people in high mmr are using some combination of nvidia profile inspector, no shadows config, cracked reshade, and other even worse types of assistance. it's pretty awful.

@@carcosa_tyrant9444 i have 5-6 star MMR and only had one cheater in my 1k playtime, i play on EUW and EUE, the graphic quality reduce was always there even with amd you can do this, the confi file thing can get you banned and they banned many people for that, because it was a big problem in early 2023. Either you just assume that you got killed by a cheater, because someone shot you through a Wall (because of sheer luck or because of render distance), or you are one of the unluckiest dude ever. I also lowered the Graphic settings, because of render distance, but you dont have to, my buddy plays on Max settings and is still 6 Star, the advantage is marginal and only exploidable in few Situations. Game balancing wise it was never as good as now, sure Long Ammo is still meta, but because of several nerfs on ammunitions and the flash nerf, it is now more enjoyable than before.

For how basic Red River is, it's pretty fun honestly. Just needs some time in the oven. Also there is a literal Cowboy Extraction shooter called "A Twisted Path To Renown" that might be worth a play for some people

I escaped from tarkov a while ago. SPT helped with that and the coop mod.

A few more to consider, Last Group Out, Night Raider, Witchfire, Oasis Tokyo, Outpost: Infinity Siege, The Last Stand: Aftermath (rogue-like but also extraction elements), and a highly overlooked game that is more rogue-like but you still have to get out without dying so I consider it part Extraction Shooter and that game is the super fun RICO. Seriously you can find RICO dirt cheap most of the time and it is a good time, particularly with a friend to coordinate with. Also most of your suggestions are Online Only games so I would suggest not supporting them since you are basically just paying to be robbed at a later date. But hey if you like throwing money down the drain then go for them.

sptarkov is a great option aswell you can get mods, no hackers, no unfair lobbys, also you even get to select your game edition but you still just require the base game

@RoccaaaHD There's a mod for base anomaly that does the same thing. I thought campfire saves would do it for me, but campfires are practically everywhere in Cordon anyway. Once I get the hang of the mechanics a little better, I think I'd like to have a mod like that. 😁

The game isn't really balanced for the respawn mechanic either, but it would at least remove the ability to spam saves & throw yourself at the same engagements until you win. It would cause players to feel the gravity of choice & consequence a bit more & lead to playing the game differently. I'm having fun with Anomaly, but I do still find myself loading saves and re-playing sections fairly often. 😅 Eventually I'll probably try the respawn add-on and/or upgrade to Gamma 😁

as someone with 400 hours in marauders, i cant recommend it. It's currently completely dead besides a few sweats hanging on (no disrespect, i was one until recently,) for a variety of reasons. The concept is really dope and I hope the devs keep working on it but at the moment it needs a lot of work before it is ready for most audiences.

I played when it was super popular tried it again recently only issue is long load time but i feel if given a second chance with more constant updates and wipes its in a decent spot considering there arnt to many competitors rn

Hunt showdown is an amazing rogue like where you collect bounties and level up your hunters which are mostly randomized(with one free one usually) and you can swap out perks at the cost of one perk point less than the original cost. You can buy legendary hunters that usually come with 3, but they do cost in game money to buy but not a high price for a skin. Gunplay is amazing. Be careful shooting someone facing you, depending on how you kill them, they can still get a shot off post death.

Shooting on Hunt sucks now

If your PC is a potato PC like mine you can play the division 1, it's 3rd person shooters by Ubisoft. I think it's best to be described as looters shooter instead of extraction shooters to be precise, but the premise are kind of close. You get in, get some loot, do PvPvE, extract the loot then decide whether coming back or out. If you dead u are not loosing your equipment tho, but u do losing ur loot, and if you want, u still have the chance to take it back as long as they aren't looted by other players.

A really good one that recently came out was a modded server for Arma reforger called xtraction. Gonna play that till I can save up for another Pc to play Grey Zone.

AB hits it off for me been playing since S1 and damn im hooked

You should take a look of Delta Force Hawk Ops. It's just like Tarkov with extraction mode called hazard operation.

Remember Incursion Red River can be played offline singleplayer as well which is a big deal for me.

Stalker series already defeated tarkov before tarkov even an idea, they tried so hard to be cinematic with that graphic and "realistic weapons", while SOC is already cinematic without even trying

Idk but it just feels better fighting actual ppl gives a feeling that SPT doesn't give. ive had eod for 4 years. i played legitimately for 4 years. they released unheard and i was fed up and started cheating. i cheated for 3 days consecutively and was banned. its gross how many people id see the wireframe of people ZOOMING across the map. they cucked me, so i cheated on them, and they broke up with me. they did this on the day grey zone warfare came out.

The fact tat whole genre called "Tarkov" tells alot. Tarkov in space, another Tarkov in space, oh wait, this one officially died, Tarkov in jungle, Diablo style Tarkov, Tarkov with cowboys, Tarkov with magic, Turnbased tarkov, Tarkov this, Tarkov that. People don't usually call these games "extraction shooters". People call them "like Tarkov but (...)". And let's be honest: TUE controversy was bad at the moment with all that crap like "DLC not DLC" or "unique Gamma" or "Pay to Win buttons", but they did lots of tweaks and in the end managed to somewhat fix that issue. Atleast partially. But for "refuges", they fucked up even more. Greyzone is unplayable crap with huge political fuckery involved. ABI is basically arcade clone of Tarkov (literally a clone, they "cloned" huge part of the game) and we still have to see what Tencent gonna do with monetization. Leet is an obvious scum-project, devs are know for that kind of tricks. DMZ is a joke. Zivert is not actually a shooter, atleast not the FPS. DRG is a PVE farming TD game. Red River. Meh, didn't even see this game anywhere. Helldivers is yet again - PVE shoot-them-all type of game, not a slow gloomy milsim with looting mechanics. DnD i think is closer to Hunt than Tarkov. Imo Hunt is the most successful game in terms of making another extraction shooter that is not a variation of Tarkov. But for Tarkov replacement i think the only option right not is Arena Breakout. All the other options are simply either not filling the need for certain gameplay or just worse than Tarkov itself. Arena has a significantly better visuals (although it is more demanding in terms of hardware), gameplay is simpler yet not "smaller", it still feels like a solid shooter, economy is simplified but is janky and i have worries about future monetization decisions from Tencent ("golden" ammo, armors, etc), we'll see. And it is free to play, atleast after the end of the closed beta. It still feels a bit empty in terms of map diversity, loot, equipment, but i think they gonna make (or steal again) lots of content in a short period of time, so that's not a big deal. And the gunplay compared to current Tarkov gameplay feels significantly worse. It feels like they've copied the previous patch recoil which was ass. The last Tarkov recoil changes were the game saving decision. Plus from what i see, BSG took a turn in their patches to improving the game, especially when there is finally a competition, a need to be better. From what i've seen people fled from Greyzone, and i think game will be dead in one year or less. People boycotted Helldivers cuz of "temporary" region restriction which was way worse than TUE crap. CoD has different approach to gameplay, they have almost no cross in playerbase. DRG, Hunt and DnD are in another category and they do not compete with Tarkov. These are already successful games and these don't need Tarkov playerbase. And the only option right not - is Arena Breakout. The rest are either "don't fill the void" or straight up garbage.

Hey! I tried STALKER EFP and...hated it...^^ But I do LOVE Helldivers 2. But I'm thinking of getting Zero Sievert. Do you think I will like it if I hated Stalker? (Everything took so long and was so complicated. The crafting was a pain in the ass for me...). Thank you!

I would strongly argue that Helldivers 2 and Deep Rock Galactic are not extraction shooters. Haven't played Warzone cause it stinks. Just because you shoot and then extract - doesnt make it an extraction shooter. If these two games are extraction shooters - half of the coop squad games on steam are extraction shooters, like Warframe. If you stretch the definition by 1 inch, then 90% of shooters with loot in them are extraction shooters.

K, the series that started all extraction shooters and battle royal games where you die and you lost everything is ARMA. Luckily all the big streamers are playing so Arma Reforger is packed right now, find a modded survival server with base building and if you die you loose it all. Unacceptable really that this wasn’t on the list
