The USA has over 300 million residents. Our government probably has as many people in it as an entire city in the Emerald Isle. We are a Constitutional Republic, where the US Constitution is the highest law in the land. That document doesn't allow us the power to "remove" bad leaders. Because such an action indicates very publicly a lack of impartiality on the Justice's part - for even the mere suggestion of a lack of impartiality, judges are removed from cases. That flag issue is beyond the pale - there's no question that the relevant Justice must *not* have any say in any related matter, as they've chosen to consciously indicate that they are aligned with the very people that they're tasked with ruling over, rendering their position untenable due to an overt conflict of interest. Please don't insult anyone here - or humiliate yourself - by trying to pretend that all of the above somehow evades you.

The public MUST KNOW whether Alito and Thomas were deciding votes in hearing the immunity appeal. It only takes 4 SCOTUS votes to hear a case. Were their votes instrumental in hearing the appeal? Journalists must find out.

Chief Justice John Roberts must act responsibly, LEAD the Supreme Court, and recuse Alito & Thomas in cases where either is compromised. Otherwise, Roberts stands with them. His responsibility & authority over the court require him to do so.

You obviously haven't checked Roberts' actions over the years. Not only does he share the views of Alito and Thomas, he's too spineless to take any action even if he didn't have the same beliefs. He has already refused an invitation to appear in the Senate concerning the lack of ethical oversight in the SC. He "presided" over Trump's first impeachment trial, but allowed the Repubs to refuse having witnesses, and I think he refused to "preside" at all at the second impeachment trial. He's weak, has no idea of leadership.

Some states have review boards on ethics. Why aren’t these people under some type of review and held accountable.

The problem is that many millions of people will just throw their hands up and give up on politics and the duty to vote because it appears that everyone is corrupt and nothing will be done about it. There's a lot of talk but nothing happens!
