@@RSS.B definitely, I completed one piece in 18 days 3 years ago. And you have 60 days. Assuming one piece has 100 episodes filler then you have approx 960 episodes to watch Then you have to watch only 16 episodes per day to catch up to one piece , i.e.approx 5.3 hours of one piece per day till 60 days . I am not forcing you to watch it , you may do as u like 😃

It's extremely important. The story has a lot of details that's why it's too long. When you finish it, you'll feel you want 2000 more episodes believe me haha. One Piece in Anime mode started in 1999, different from the Manga which started from 1997 and One Piece is very interesting because it often discusses Politics, Human Trafficking, Corruption, Genocide, Racism, Black Markets, Unethical Human Experiments, Political Marriage, Human Slavery, Environmental Issues, Pandemics, Drugs, Absolute Government Power, World History Hidden By World Governments. So if people see One Piece without watching, they'll think that it's just an ordinary kid's anime 😉

The flashbacks are extremely common. We usually don't get any back story on characters. Except through flashbacks. We see them fight or face struggles and it flashes back. Sometimes you end up hating a character the whole time they are on screen and then a flash back happens, you feel like a dick, and suddenly they are in your top 10 characters.

Too many moving parts and big name players for Luffy’s journey to become the king of the pirates to be short and simple. The end is drawing near but I will always want more One Piece.

Btw the reason zoro can cut fire is because he met a samurai who has a technique to cut then blow up fire, and zoro got him to teach him it

Great reaction but you are so lucky the latest episode was a combat heavy episode. Things i want to point out if you want to watch one piece: - Its incredibly long for a reason. Its set in an incredibly fleshed out world with a lot of history integral to the story. - There are sooooooo many characters that are well written with goals and morals that clash with each other. - One piece is the easily the best example of foreshadowing and introducing plot points that have insanely important and satisfying payoffs hundreds of chapters later. An example is that we are name dropped Kaido on episode 314 and learn stuff about him until he is finally properly introduced 400 episodes later, where he is built up to be the primary antagonist almost 200 eps later. - The story at surface looks like a goofy pirate show for kids but it is incredibly political, tackling a lot of themes ranging from colonialism to healthcare inequality. - The one piece anime has been going on for over 20 years now, so dont expect this level of animation. Also, since its been going on for so long, it can have really wonky pacing! - My recommendation is to watch one piece until about episode 44 (aka the Arlong Park arc) because it shows you just how good and well written one piece is. If you havent enjoyed watching it until then, One piece probably isn't a series you'll like! Best of luck!!

Think it also bares explaining that the reason for the "wonky pacing" is because the anime will slow down in order for the manga to get ahead. So at the beginning we were getting one or two chapters worth of story an episode now we're lucky if we get a quarter of a chapter an episode and the rest of the time gets padded out with added flashback "tension building" silences. But they still know how to make the hype moments pop when they want to

idk if youve started watching one piece now, but Koby is one of my all time anime favorites, in the show Oda (One piece creator) gives the message to pursue your dreams, and Koby is the show of that, in this first episode he looks funny and is coward, but once he follows his dream, even when he hasnt achieved it but just following it, he looks better, does better, is stronger, why? because he is following what he wants, he is LIVING, hes following his dream and thats why hes so much "better" in every aspect. And this is one of the many reasons i love one piece, it shows you that if you follow your dream youll live your best life.

It is actually funny that you played yourself one of the best rated episodes of OP. Yeah, after 1062 eps, especially as Funanimation likes to make the progress extremely slow (that is the reason why it has so many eps) but with pieces like this, you're kind of glad you stayed by it.

If there was a new king of the pirates already then the show would already ended since that’s the main goal of the protagonist Monkey D. Luffy I mean one of the goals is to find the one piece but he’ll become king of the pirates at the same time he finds the one piece I bet.. also the original king of the pirates has almost 6 billion berry bounty and Luffy has a 3 billion bounty so he’s actually pretty close.
