This is a spoiler-free comment. Based on what I saw in this video, I believe you would be a fantastic One Piece reactor and I will be checking out other reactions you have done. The reasons I think you would be a good fit for One Piece Include, but are not limited too... 1: Your love of back-stories. One Piece is well know for it's back-stories, and even one-off characters can be given absolutely wonderfully-crafted back-stories. 2: Your theory-crafting. This is something the One Piece community loves to do and something the community adores watching reactors do. 3: You were very observant and caught things in the intros a lot of other reactors missed(such as the changing clothes, the names of the characters, etc.). This will be a big boon to you if you attempt to go through the series as Oda loves putting in little jokes, gags and foreshadowing that will come up later on in the series. If you do give the show a watch I'd recommend watching it on Twitch, uploading the unedited videos behind the paywalls of Patreon and KZread, and uploading edited vids free on KZread. There are episode guides that will help you progressed through the series, but you should set a cap for yourself to avoid burning out. I hope I get to say "welcome aboard" to you in the near future. Omg wow thank you so much for taking the time and the advise , i really appreciate it. I 100 percent want to start One Piece some day but i have no idea how i would be able to fit it with my current schedule . Just moved to London for the first time and working as a PT so time is a huge problems most days haha . I might start posting little by little tbh maybe every 2 weeks like 2-3 eps mashed together

loved the reaction! funnily enough, a good chunk of your theories were actually pretty spot on, though i won't go into further detail than that personally i love the latter half of the openings much more, probably because it's more modern too, but the first half does have some gems. looking forward to the next one & hope you're having a nice day :D

Op 5- Kokoro no Chizu has always been in my top 5 favs forever lol. The rest of my top 5 will be in your part 2. Also, always makes my laugh when people see Chopper’s transformation points, and yes Tony Tony Chopper talks. Chopper the blue nose reindeer the “Rudolph” made me laugh.

This has to be one of my favorite reactions to the openings here on youtube. The attention to small details, the theories formed around them and the small recaps after every opening make this so entertaining to watch and the excitement and energy beaming off of you really made my day. Also the "It feels like I'm at the beach... Oh we're at the beach" part at 7:18 got a good chuckle out of me.

You would adore this anime especially when we get into world building comedy lore and the most well thought out connected and emotional story telling in history with no plot holes

The reason that Luffy's crew are called the Straw Hats is because every pirate crew is defined by its captain. The guy who gave luffy his hat, "Red Haired" Shanks, is captain of the red hair pirates, despite his crew not being redheads. Luffy's epithet is "Straw Hat" and therefore his crew are called the Straw Hat Pirates.

Find you by accident. I love how you were truly blind when watching this. When you think about it, One Piece really doesn't have that many openings for the scale it's at, it has "only" 24 (soon 25, a new one should be coming out in the following months) for almost 1100 episodes (we're at 1060+ currently, can't remember the exact number) Usually anme seasons are 12 to 24 episodes, and each season gets 1 opening, sometimes 2 for the 24 episodes seasons, while One Piece openings are used for around a year each time. Because of that you'll notice that after (I think) opening 6 or 7, they started doing longer openings of 2 minutes instead of the usual 1 min 30 seconds, to cover more stuff so it stays relevant for longer, but I'm honestly thankful for that because if they sticked to the usual 12 episodes / opening we'd be at opening 88 or 89, or 44 openings if they stayed for 24 episodes.

Congratulations, you've spotted Franky, a lot people just don't notice him for some weird reason.

The openings themselves don't showcase the events of the actual story entirely most of the time. Its usually like 30% of the actual events taking place, so you don't get a lot of spoilers to the events taking place. Which is good since the story takes some twists and turns that will just blow you away. In all honesty, its the closest thing you can find to a modern Odyssey so i wholeheartly reccomend it.

Its better to use antagonists rather than villains cus people in this show are complex. Our crew are pirates. As you know from our world, Piracy isn’t a good thing. Same in this world. Good and Evil is subjective for this show.
