    I'm in my early 20s and have found out about non duality a couple months ago. I used to watch a ton of non duality content and try to apply the teachings and sayings to my life so the mind could be at ease. After learning that it is not the mind or body that awakens, I have stopped seeking to awaken, however my focus is only on allowing everything that rises including strong feelings of pain, discomfort, fear and despair. I no longer resist negative emotions and sensations and welcome them and feel them fully in the body when they arise. Mainly because if non duality means oneness with everything, I cannot resist feelings of pain and sadness and pain to focus on the bliss. Negative and positive emotions are both the same.

    But if you're feeling it. The negative and the discomfort that comes with it, how are you able to detach from those feelings pulling you down. As someone who's known depression for so long, I could try to ignore but I do feel drained physically mentally and emotionally What benefits do you feel being able to ignore the good and bad?

    @@dinom3106 My answer is not a complete answer, which is more complex, but the first simple thing you CAN do is to genuinely THANK Source/God for any of your so-called negative experiences. Why? Because they are leading you to higher consciousness. A higher vibration. This is 100% Truth, so make that your dominant thought whenever you think or feel your disorder. No need to ignore it. Just love it even if that is not your experience. Also, after you express gratitude, you can ask something like; "......and I request that you tell me what I need to know concerning my depression, and make it obvious." By the way, you can try St. John's Wort and other herbs that can be very helpful.

Here it is almost a year later and i finally feel more at peace. It really is hard to let go of attatchments.. especially to the ones you love. It seems to me like ND is very simple and direct. I am still deeply ego-deluded myself, but I like the idea of not having to live as a monk and not having to meditate for 20 years, and that awakening is already fully present and it just has to be recognized by disidentifying with the ego-mind. My fav ND teachers are Naho Owada, Hans Lundgren, and Pablo at Meditation Amsterdam. Thanks for sharing your message and for trying to help!

    Crazy how this video was uploaded a day after my experience. On November 29, 2023, i had another breakdown. After 3 years of working on myself and healing from trauma, I had thought I had finally overcome most of it. It had all of a sudden hit me. I still feel completely alien, disconnected from myself, like i do not belong here at all. I pretty much was fed up and just wanted the truth. I smoked another bowl, and it seemed like all the darkness i had been fighting and overcoming had just hit me full force, but this time, it felt like it was truly dissolving. All of a sudden, the truth hit me clear as day. I looked around my apartment and was thinking "Holy shit, the truth was right here the whole time and i missed the whole point" I not only felt completely reconnected and whole with everything around me, but i realized I WAS everything. I literally saw life in everything. The illusion of time dissolved, and there was only now. It is a trip to see others are having such similar experiences!

    @kaikangas1809

    Working to provide for your family is not dualism. There are no act nor any actions that are by itself dualistic in nature. In fact there are neither duality or non-duality, they are mere labels of something beyond any concept. What non-duality is about is the nature of our mind, the way we perceive our reality as in having a locus within our experience. So i want to clarify for you, and hopefully i am able to do so. Non-duality is to perceive without there being any perceiver. The perceiver is your mind, which are just thoughts and perceptions. Going beyond duality could also be labled as direct perception. There are no intermediary stations where your experiences are being filtered through. There are no one to lable a though or feeling as being good or bad, even this labeling is part of the wholeness of non duality. Our habituated tendencies to follow thoughs and sensations that arise is the culprit that keeps us in dualistic chains. Allow all to arise, your mind is like sky, thoughts feelings and perceptions like clouds. Just lean back, rest in effortless naturalness and allow the clouds to dissolve.

Busy people will find it helpful to combine worldly activities along with self-realisation. This is the reason for the sudden increase in the number of self-realised people compared to the older days when we could practically find very few self-realised people.

    Seems to me that this whole thing can be simplified. All is energy. The universe is an infinite field of energy. Get this: The universe is infinite. If it wasn’t then somewhere out there all that dark space would have to become something other than space. What could replace the space? Nothing could replace it so it must go on forever - hence infinity. What’s infinite has no boundaries and cannot be measured (or it wouldn’t be infinite.) Infinity doesn’t stop where “you” start - there can’t be infinity + “me.” So all there is, is infinity expressing itself in different shapes and patterns but all of those shapes and patterns never being anything other than THE TOTALITY or THE ABSOLUTE. The experience of The Absolute is the experience of ONENESS - (That which we all desire whether we know it or not.) Here’s the key: 95% of the universe is space. So if you want to experience ONENESS you have to include in awareness what 95% of the totality is! The space three or four feet around your body is EXACTLY the same space as the space a billion lightyears away! There is no place where the space here joins the space there. When you are CONSCIOUSLY aware of the space around you the experience is of ONENESS - which is all there truly is. Seeing this and remaining consciously aware of the space around you is vital to your sense of wellbeing and your happiness. What you are is infinity appearing as a separate individual, but never being anything other than infinity. The only problem with being in this state is dealing with the constant stream of people wondering what you seem to be so happy about! If you want a happy face, you must include the space!!

    Non duality to me is that there isn't good and bad, there is only Good because all experiences whether good or bad teach the truth and the truth created life so it is good to know "that which creates life" if we seek to defend and protect it, but when you look closer at the all goodness, you then see a lesser good and greater good which create the forms and the functions of the whole universe. So all is One in it's root goodness so then One is of course the totality of the Good and Good is God and God is the highest authority in the universe and we know that all authority is derived from how true something is, so we see that God is Truth by way of authority, and we know the truth is the law of correspondence which we experience in the reflection of every moment. It is that reflectivity that is consciousness, reflected within an eternal medium, and inherently Good. Because to be in a harmonious body of any sort is inherently Good, since Good and Life expresses itself through harmony. The universe shines in all directions to explain to us both our immortality and our cosmic inheritance. This comment is yet again a culmination of the rays of light into a new form to transfer ancient information in new ways.

    By that reasoning God is also responsible for evil. By extension, because we're all supposed to be One - we all are responsible for it too. So why not abolish evil altogether ? Oh you'll say experiencing evil is necessary for soul growth. I don't agree. No-one should have to suffer. You don't need to experience evil to know what good is. Why do we need to grow / evolve if suffering UNNECESSARILY is part of it ? I think the system stinks and needs a big overhaul. God is a sadist the way things are.

    Edit (this is my second comment. Read the first, first.) Sorry, just finished the video. Ok, to your question, ill sum up. Reality is indivisible. . . . As long as there is You, That is aware, Of _____ (fill in the blank) thats still duality.(aware, of thoughts, aware, of dog, aware, of mind, aware, of silence, etc) all still duality An (1) observer and (2) the observed is still duality. There is no observer in non-duality. Not possible, That's self awareness.(Aware, OF . .is a separation) . . . . Theres no awareness "of" or "awareness of" because thats a division. So, Ready? : ) A person who has transcended duality is total and complete. . . . But also, a person who has not transcended duality is also total and complete. * So, a seeker, at whatever stage of the path, at any given moment, is already total and complete. (I say "moment,"you know what i mean, you have to verbalize, dont get distracted, ha) I say again, a seeker, at whatever stage, in any moment, is total and complete. . . . .I burned my garbage tonight outside. Before i lit it, it was perfect and complete bags of trash. As it burned it was a perfect and complete pile of burning garbage. When it was done, it was a perfect and complete smelly burn pit. In non-duality, reality "moves" from complete, to complete, to complete, to complete . . From perfection, to perfection, to perfection. Nothing can be added to perfection. There is nothing missing from complete. There is nothing missing. There is nothing to say.

    Yeah, but isn't the chasing the necessary part of the path? If so, it might not be helpful to anybody to send him direct, or? I guess one needs to give up the chasing. But not giving up because one just decides to give up. One has to give up because he/she has exhausted all his/her power on seeking. I might be wrong, just guessing ...

    I love your grounded nature and energy. Calming. Great take and insights. For me, it all started with the death of my father back in 2011 as well. And all I can say is that I am grateful for the integration that happened within. It was like the head and heart started to hold hands and never let go. I look forward to more creations and adventures.

    There is no non dality. Human brain electro magnetism is always dual. Oftentimes chaotic (the primordial hardwiring...which is why we play out designated roles as genders, races etc in evolutions great game) but sometimes the duality aligns to spark reason, logic or pure consciousness and thats probably what youre talking about. In fact the more you indulge in speculative notions about your state, the deeper you fall into delusion hence the dreadful state of many one meets at these meditational places and communes. Cultivate reason and detach your hardwiring.

    Hmmm. I used the materialist approach on the basis that we are evolving continuously towards some state of pure non-hardwired consciousness (at which point we reach a state of rational non compulsion.) Then I stood back and looked at my world and understand why there is such endless competition and craving for love. Hardwiring and I am not being conspiratorial...this is scientific fact...is the matrix of organic life. You cannot resist wanting to be loved, have sex, being driven to associate with your group etc. Start off by cultivating pure reason...what you might do had you no hard wiring IE. Think of for example co-existence based on reason, not charity or compassion. Use that as a start for all your daily activities.@@jackississb123456789

    to say non-duality is the most direct path is too vague to be useful. i hv searched for 35 years n still not enlightened. The way John Wheeler says is the best way, most useful.. I am...I exist.... I am aware....I am that which is aware.Meditate on these pointers during fixed sessions , then during all activities till it becomes automatic all day long

    @gribwitch sounds like you're using a personal painful experience to attack a simple understanding. Non duality doesn't ignore the real physical pain in life but accepts them as part of life. You can either acknowledge and accept that you're in pain or fight bitterly against it? Choice is yours! Blame or condemnation doesn't help!

    @oneness1_ "...You can either acknowledge and accept that you're in pain or fight bitterly against it?..." I've always been a questioning person. For me the issue goes much deeper than that. Pain and suffering is part of life, yes, unfortunately. Yet in my view in shouldn't be. There should not be a need for it AT ALL. We do not need to have that as a contrast to feeling good. We can simply feel good ALL THE TIME. As was God's original intention for us i.e. in the Garden of Eden - where everything was idyllic and perfect. There was no pain and suffering there until mankind chose to disobey God. So we had it "right" then, why can't we have it that way again ? No-one enjoys suffering. Yet no-one challenges this crazy unjust system of God's. ! I know the argument that we need suffering for our "soul growth", but surely that could happen WITHOUT suffering ? The way the universe has been and is set up causes unnecessary distress to everyone at some point in their lives. There has to be a better way, otherwise God is a sadist. Surely with His unlimited powers he could devise a system that works, without suffering ? If not, then He's not much of a God ! ( And please, let's not have some smart alec saying "If you can come up with a better system than this one, go ahead." That's not my role. I'm not the Designer. ) In my admittedly limited human understanding, to me, the system stinks. It's long past time it changed ! It seems it's going to when we reach 5D. But that's cold comfort to those who have suffered in so many ways over human history. And all with God's consent.

    Duality is the enemy. For in duality lies all manner of suffering. The Earth suffers....the animal kingdom suffers... and humans suffer. The whole world suffers primarily because of the violence that humans perpetrate towards all life here on Earth...since the falsified story of Cain and Abel. The human to human violence that we experience here on Earth...is directly caused by the violence that humans perpetrate towards the animal kingdom.,,(especially those whom we have chosen as food source.) If humans would stop perpetrating this violence towards the animal kingdom... in the act of slaughtering billions of innocent animals daily, for no other reason but for the eating of their flesh....then the human to human violence would begin to dissipate immediately, until all human to human violence is gone and we will once again find ourselves living in our Paradise once more. It will be The Meek (those who do no harm) who will be called to inherit the New Earth. Old things are passing away and behold.....all things are becoming new again. Join the ranks of the Pure in Heart. Promote Heaven on Earth...(just like Jesus told us to, when he told us that the most excellent prayer we can pray...is that it be on Earth...as it is in Heaven. Be Strong...Be Wise...Be Brave...Be Kind...Be Better. Let us live a life that is cruelty free towards all humans and non-humans alike....at every stage of life....so the Gates of the Good and Kind Father may once again open... when we have chosen to Set The Captives Free!
