C triple bond CH waale ko priority milegi beta.. Aap open karke likh ke dekho.. First atom to dono mei hi same priority waala hoga isliye hum second atom par jaayenge.. Second atom bhi dono groups mei carbon hi Hai but C triple bond waale mei ye carbon three carbon se attached Hoga jabki C(Ch3) 3 waale mei second carbon hydrogen se attached hai

@@sofiaashraf7907 yahan Oxygen ko priority deni hai... Second atom hydrogen ko nhi dekhna.. Oxygen ko dekhna hai.. Second atom to hydrogen and oxygen dono hi Hai.. But priority oxygen ko hi di jaayegi as compared to hydrogen.. Phir neeche dekho.. Second atom carbon hi Hai..to Oxygen ki priority jyada Hai as compared to carbon..

Mam has made no mistake. She has given the correct name according to the Cahn-Ingold-Prelog system of nomeclature. Here, in example no. 4, there are four different groups attached around the C and C double bond. The first atom of all the groups is carbon, so we have to look for the second atom in all of them to assign priority. Let's compare C(Me)3 with CH2-OH. There are three methyl groups attached to the carbon in C (CH3)3, and there are two hydrogen and one hydroxyl group in CH2-OH. The first atom of all three methyl groups is carbon, while the first atom in CH2-OH is two hydrogens and one hydroxyl group. Here, oxygen has an atomic number of 8, and carbon has an atomic number of 6. That's why we give priority to CH2OH over CH3. I hope it will help you.
