Maybe he had given Cl but for any issue the 'L' is removed and Sir didn't notice that. As the 2nd example given by him is Fluro that's why I think the the first one will be chloro. Good observation.

😅I justt searched that!...see, while naming organic compounds, the suffix -yl is used if we replace a hydrogen by a carbon. So you see, earlier, in those chains of carbon we joined it with hydrogen using single bond, but now we are replacing it with carbon, so, the suffix -yl is used. (If you wanna know more)- this suffix comes from "alkyl group" {❌Do not confuse it with alkyne}. "Alkyl group" is an alkane missing one hydrogen. By the way, 10th grader??
