driveline balance - good tip. preventative maintenance will save you big money down the road. wouldn't the bed at the window line still be too low to be able to open the door to the cab? what about installing those lift rails some people do and have the bed go up close to the ceiling when not in use? of course the cabinets are currently in the way to do that.

Hello. I see that you don't have a tilting mechanism for your solar panels, yet you've got enough power for your truck. I think it's an important subject. Would you like to make a video about it? I mean, could you give a complete discussion about the pros and cons of having or not having a tilting mechanism please?

It's just good insulation and pure surface area. 1500-2000w is easily possible on most boxes.

He's trying to be stealthy. If he was staying in one place for a while a manual tilt might be useful...but he's in sunny climate so he's doing enough. I'm doing my 30ft TT with 4 200w batteries and doing 3s3p w 100w panels on strut channel and tilt brackets... I'm doing inside system and cabinet now. Then beefing up the roof rafters to handle the extra load. I'm not nomadic now, but after the conversion I could.

I have been living on the road 6 years in 4 different vehicles, never tilted my panels, never had an issue. fill your roof with solar and youll be good.

Love your design build for the 12ft box truck, but imo i see too much space dedicated to the kitchen and not enough for more important spaces like a bath with toilet and shower. To me, this would be more important along with a bed that can be lowered from the ceiling if height allows. Then, more space can be allowed for lounging, storage, etc. I watch your channel bc it's full of ideas for my future build. Thanks.

hey brad first of all i love what youve done to your box truck its incredible, i caught the bit about how you used to do hvac and how you got your truck. i do hvac as well in the northeast self employed and ive outgrown my pick up truck i feel like a box truck would be perfect for new builds/ install and just use my pick up for service work. do you think a 14 foot box truck from uhaul is a viable option for this? i never realized how well they maintain their vehicles and the prices seem really good compared to local dealerships in my area

Yes, the 14’ would be great. We used Chevy express for service and a 14’ box for installs. It’s plenty of space.
