Hey thor mate, brill video showing the different target ids and tones, will certainly help those who may be struggling or getting to grips with the simplex. I 100% agree on learn your machine, I'm still learning mine after 2 years. I've seen so many want to find something decent after the first hunt and start off with a high end machine. And probably either give up or change for another machine because its too complicated. Get to know it and spend time. You may just get lucky. Thanks for sharing mate and take it easy. Atb,GL&HH Mark

Field is 2 tones 1 tone below 15 and 1 for everything above, the high squeak is the modulation of how close the item is to the coil. So the same item will sound will have a different pitch depending on how close it is to coil , looking forward to you field test of the elliptical. Just a quick point, if you using small coil to get in amongst the iron , wouldn’t you use one of the park modes and not field ?

Another great field test, Thor. Nokta should hire you as their Scottish account representative.

Nice vid mate, I used the simplex for a bit but couldn’t get the hang of it, got it mainly for the beach. Happy days mate ATB #scottishrelics

Thanks for sharing this video, Thor! I'm really torn as to which of the two new coil I want to buy for my wife's Simplex. The SP22 seems to do really well.

I have said what you mentioned for years...Learn your machine, the machine cant understand you, so just listen to what its telling you...takes a while, but pays off in the end. Hello me m8 definitely learning your machine is the key to digging crap all day some like to dig everything tho i suppose it comes down to the permission whats come iff it you kniw what its like when you find a hammy u end up digging like a nutter the tones u get used to duck lol im waiting to get ravsged by dogs one day 🤣the viky was sunbathing on its side lol my m8 had 1750s hibernins the lot out the field while i was fannyin abt filming lol plenty more to come iff there as for the coat hanger thats what im saying uts the second one but theres ppl convinced its a medevil pot handle lol couldny manage alot 10 holes a was done in rib cage was brutal i shdnybbe oot lol ct scan the mawra hope nothing comes back as much as i want a diagnosis you dont want the things ct can see lol thanks for Watching mate as always 😁😁😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
