In my personal experience, fapping just makes me tired and I always feel shallow /empty afterwards. You’ll read articles how they say masturbating is safe but honestly I feel like I lose my glow right after I release haha. Fight that urge brothers, our bodies get stronger and our minds become clearer everyday we don’t. There are days when you will go absolutely crazy, advice from experience, force yourself to get up and walk or talk to someone. Helps a lot. Thanks aanghel for being the inspiration since day 1, and bringing to light the benefits of cold showers. I live in Az and always had terrible allergies. We have some terrible air quality here along with high levels of pollen in the spring. Cold showers daily has completely eliminated my allergies. Amazing stuff.

Fapping definitely drains your life energy and vitality. If I ever wake up in the morning thinking I'm going to go workout at the gym and run 3 miles, it never happens after fapping. Post-nut clarity basically equates to post-nut laziness. Makes the body and mind lethargic. For men, our semen holds the key to willpower, energy, and vitality. I truly believe it based on observing my energy flow for years.

average joe Releasing semen drains us from an energy standpoint and spiritual as well if you proceed to look it at that way. When you’re on semen retention/nofap you become much more clear minded, energized, and at times more aggressive, it’s the testosterone in us. You have to the fight urges of “One time won’t hurt...” it’s just your mind and dopamine playing tricks on you. I’ve been on and off no fap for about 7 months, hit a bit of flatline but I’m on week 2 currently and I’m nearly in a relationship with someone who I was afraid to approach and talk while I was fapping. Good luck my brothers stay strong!!

@@liam.s789 do you know why they say that? This is coming from a medical student. Ejaculation depletes your testosterone. It's testersterone which enlarges the prostrate gland, it's a normal process. By the time you reach your 50's your prostrate gland will probably double in size. You can utilise that testosterone in other ways like exercise, building muscle, stamina, endurance...etc

Almost 90 days. I'm in a 84 days streak now. I simply don't feel like I'll ever go back to the old habits again. No more porn or fap. But I also know that I should never let my guard down. If I don't be careful with my thoughts and urges it's very easy and possible to fall again in a moment of weakness. So yes, as the time passes it gets easier, but you are never fully free or "immune" to the temptations. You are actually just a few clicks away from it. So decide that you really want to change, forge new good habits to fulfill the void (extremely important) and be vigilant. Also, never give up. I relapsed too many times for many years until a finally get it and probably everybody will relapse again and again until they truly decide that they want to get ride of this addiction and be serious about it. Good luck.

The more and often you remind yourself in a honest way not lieing to oneselve, the stronger the bond of your mind gets and strenghtens with your Mind. The Key is to remember the key reasons and remind yourself to relive the vibes youve got when you first decided and dedicated yourself to 100% without looking back. If you Master this and try never to forget the true reason behind your doing you will succeed and ascend to the higher level and also your life will start from there on because you will be able to do anything and everything....

And i am aware that this is the reason why i am not able to quit pmo, because i kinda still want to have that pleasure, i have not truly let go of pmo yet. Because of that right now what i'm doing, im just living my life. I used to get really upset and depressed when i relapsed, but now i don't, because it doesn't help, it only causes unnecessary suffering. I have 3 rules of advice I've learned from others that I think help alot 1. You relapse in your mind before you act it out in real life. In other words you indulge in fantasy and the urge and end up justifying your actions before you even relapse. 2. Learn to embrace the discomfort. When a urge hits and you start physically feeling that tension building up you just gotta endure it or better yet transmute it. 3. Learn to love and forgive yourself. You can't recover and move on or grow in a positive direction if you don't love and forgive yourself.

Of course you don't want to get just anybody as your friend as personalities can clash and become toxic but in the end i think everybody carves for companionship and somebody to connect with be it a woman or brother in arms.

This video was really helpful. The tip that stood out the most to me though was to just live your life and I think that's an extremely important part of any self help journey. I started my self help journey around the beginning of quarantine and I've grown a lot since then but I've always had the same problem of placing a stopping point to where I need to be. My main one for the longest has been "I need to be the best version of my current self before school starts back up again, for myself, but also so that people can see that I've been changing." I never admitted that last part but it's always been in the back of my head. I recently started picking up on how I work harder or do things more productively when I feel like I'm under the watchful eye of some other person, for example, running in the park and I pass by some people so I run as if I was always putting out my max effort, and it's been bothering me. It's irritating to admit but it's true and correcting my mistakes is the only way to growth. I feel like a lot of people could benefit from the fact that self help isn't some sort of boost like a senzu bean or a weapon upgrade, its a lifestyle change, and the life it's changing is yours, not another person. You shouldn't be trying to change your life but only confine your entire growth period to a couple weeks or months and expect yourself to never fall down again, it doesn't work like that. Everyone on their journey should be actively improving on themselves for themselves.

Putting a reminder for you guys : your discovery of fapping you wished you never got involved in, the numerous falldowns because you weren't strong enough, the moments of sorrow and depression you got, when you were alone, all led you to this place and moment where you finally discovered the CAUSE of everything happening to YOU. This is a blessing trust me, that most of the population will never have. Words can't do it justice, but i would call it "self-awareness and life-awareness". You are able to see life as its true value, while everyone around you are clogged up by addictions and distractions. They can't understand, but it doesn't matter. You understood the day you decided to change your fate, and this, is priceless. Remember : weakness, fate, bad environment, made you fall down in that hole. There are plenty of reasons, but each are completely fine. The day you will get out of it and step on the surface, you will be strong. Forever. Do not forget this experience, it is part of your identity now. Use it wisely. The plan is set up, trust the process and keep moving forward.

Thanks for the video. Day 126: No hot showers since April. Only cold showers. Hitting the weights hard 5 days a week. Six pack abs are almost visible which is unbelievable because I have been kind of husky my whole life. Exercise is a great outlet for using all of that extra energy. Meditation every day to help the mind readjust. Meditation is very important to prevent the mind from getting back into those old thought habits. I have a higher attention span because I'm able to sit down and read books for long periods of time. Five months ago, I didn't have the attention span to read for hours on end. I didn't really have the urge to read books. No drugs, no alcohol, just stillness. This stuff works. I feel completely different than I did before. Stay strong.

I lift and go on my excessive bike (burning 1000 calories) almost every day and nothing changes. I seemingly waste over 5 hours of my day exercising for no gain. I eat almost nothing too. A bagel in the morning and a tiny bit of pasta at night separated by many protein drinks. Not to mention I’m less than 6’10, meaning I’m almost entirely out of the dating market.

Great video man, took some time to check out your channel. Really love what you do for self improvement🙏. I thought it was interesting that u mentioned substituting relapsing with doing exercise. This in my eyes could be THE solution for ADHDers struggling with this (who btw I think are in the majority when it comes to dopamine addictions like masterbation), because of the dopamine substitute exercise provides for us. Another added benefit of exercise is that you don't really get self depreciating feelings afterwards..quite the opposite actually 🔥😉. Great video, looking out for more!

Damn the 'setting limits' thing is me to a tee. I've set up so many limits like 'once I reach x amount of time', 'once I graduate', 'once I get my own apartment', 'once I get my finances under control', 'once I get a few good outfits'. Its all bullshit. I have all those things, and here I am, 25 years old, alone as ever. I don't know what its going to take to make that leap. I just never feel ready enough. I never feel good enough. And it just doesn't seem worth it anyway. I work with a lot of women, I hear how they are. How they talk about their boyfriends. How they act toward other men when they're in a relationship. Its really discouraging.

You spoke about dedication of time & redirection & a lot of other things. I need to focus on all of those things that you mentioned. Well, I know that I have to make major changes in my life. However, I don't understand why exactly avoiding porn, masterbation, sex, etc. Is going to make the changes I need to make in my life. Now I've started to improve my hygiene, and trying to get proper sleep at regular times every night etc; not using the computer while in bed, shutting the computer down around 10pm and then reading instead, or just listening to music. What a video....I won't lie, saw the 17 mins and thought: "not another long video where they talk gas for like 16 mins then finally get to the point for like 1 min, could have been condensed to just that one minute...what a waste of time.." But kudos dude, that 17 mins flew by with some of the most profound, detailed and descriptive analysis of Nofap I've come across online, bravo

@@aanghel hey if they have to be long, then they long. I can only speak for myself, your videos have helped in the past, but the structure, mixed with the honesty/integrity and clear cut sound advice in this video...if someone were to ask me for one video/article/website/book that's clear and concise, easy to follow, and if followed correctly will guarantee success, and not just success in Nofap, but begin to help to alleviate mental stress/health issues, improve one's confidence, and generally begin to improve one's overall quality of life... I'd have no hesitation in recommending this video to them, and telling them to follow it to the best of their ability and they will find success. So all I can say is thank you brother
