Absolutely exquisite. The detail and clarity of every aspect of this doll is just mind blowing. She could easily be the centrepiece for a Christmas table or the Angel at the top of a tree!

I love the dress!!!!!! You choose some pretty finicky fabrics to work with and it still turned out amazing. The techniques you used are super neat- I love how she ended up with such a traditional feel.

I love the eyes closed look, don't see that too often❤ It shows off their beautiful eyeshadow and makes them look so sweet and adorable

She is so beautiful and has a face of an angel ,her outfit is stunning too 😀

So beautiful, I really like the closed eyed look she has, it makes her seem so peaceful and serene. And that garland was absolutely adorable and the color of her hair fit the whole design so well, plus I adore shades of brown and red hair. I love the dress and wish I had one myself for the Christmas holiday.

She's honestly the most adorable christmas-themed doll I've ever seen! I love everything about her! I've got a question though. What is satin varnish? I've heard of gloss and matte varnish, but never of satin... Is it something in between? (I don't use any kind of sealant during my repaints so I don't know a lot about it)

Thank you so much! Yes, it's exactly that: a nice sheen in between matte and glossy (something like pine needles, which is what I was going for!) In most cases, you can mix gloss- and matte-finish to get a satin.

For this doll I used kanekalon braiding hair, it's very cheap and widely available~ You can also find lots of hair specifically intended for dolls online.

Was shrinking her head just a personal preference, or was there another reason?

It's much more versatile in terms of the range of emotion you can get than you might think, so try out different placements of the line until you find an expression you want, and a natural-looking shape on the sculpt. 💗
