Richard Cox His album went #1 in the UK, meanwhile here in America....well, it reached 35. It's quite shocking that an artist as accomplished as NG is not even mentioned in America.

It's because here in America the powers that be want the masses to listen to songbirds with little talent like Beyonce and Kate Perry or antiquated rock bands like Black Sabbath and the Eagles that have overstayed their welcome.

Lucas Peter It's a brilliant track, and the album I think is terrific but for me, the only real stand-out track. Noel's first album was better, for me, but they're both great. Noel's fantastic.

I was actually searching for Riverman by Nick Drake. Stumbling across this was a happy accident indeed. Noel is a brilliant songwriter. One of the brightest talents to emerge from the sea of creativity that was Britain’s Brit Pop era. Liam had all the swagger and charisma befitting a front man, but it was Noel who crafted the songs that defined an entire generation. Noel’s work here with High Flying Birds only serves to cement his status as a prodigious musician. ❤️

Great write up about Noel..ive learnt so much from him guitar wise..he just simplifies tunes hes a fkin genius

Noel has perfected the craft of writing these elusive mellow tunes. Simple but Sheer brilliance!

His work is cathartic, uplifting, introspective, interesting and emotional - such a wide range of feelings I get listening to it. I will never turn down a good listen of Noel (or indeed Oasis), which can suit whatever mood I am in regardless of the day I've had, or am having. That, in my eyes, is what makes him a complete and absolute musical genius.

if there's something hard in my life, I can't stop crying listening to noel's tunes... there magic in his music that moves a 17 years old girl who weren't even born in the age of Britpop. such a perfect remedy for weary heart.

That glorious chorus. Standing on a hillside overlooking a northern town, cold wind on your face.

dont need no brit awards to know noel is one of our greatest british songwriters this country has produced so stuff em

this could so be an intro song for a James Bond film, Noel Gallagher has got a solid track here, love it!

A masterpiece of a true genius, thanks to the universe for Noel 🫀✨

Love the dreamy melancholy, puts me in mind lots of things at once, Floyd, early Verve, the psychedelic vibe of 90s, but thats all good. Fair play to him for doing his own thing and coming up with a brilliant atmospheric song.

This song is so well done- the lyrics, the instrumental.. I can't applaud Noel enough. Thank you NGHFB for making real, good music!!

he did one already and it's called Freaky Teeth. I mean listen to it, the lyrics... the queen, criminals, thunder and lightning, death. Listen to the progression, sounds like 60's song, like a British batman theme. Pretty sure he wrote it for one of the recent Bond films and it was turned down.

Same here.

Loved this from the minute I heard it.He kinda injects extra doses of soul into it at at certain points like ,"find me the girl who...".I love it when he does that.

No one talks about how good the bass is on the album. So I thought I’d point it out.

Noel Gallagher is fookin amazing.

The guitar solo of the song in my head blowing my mind. it's so interesting and so ... true! Great!
