I know it's fiction, and this is honestly me answering my own question, but imma ask anyway. How do mfs be drawing that shit from the back? Writers, animators, and directors don't even take that into consideration most of the time.

The Nodachi was primarily used in ground battle as well as horseback while the Odachi was mostly used on horseback a nodachi is just a slightly shorter but more battle ready odachi
