That’s a beefy boy with very straight lines…the wrap looks pretty good too.

They did a good job an that! That's a chrysanthemum tsuba. I've also heard it called rising sun. Not too sure which is historically accurate

Nice review and very cool sword. Sht, can you imagine how tired their hands were after hard wrapping a tsuka that long? I can do only a couple winds before my fingers need a break

Also, yeah the tsuka taper looks way better than average. My recent nagamaki has a total axe handle and is gonna need to be redone before it's actually enjoyable.

@@KF1yeah it has a lot of control with this more slim tsuka and yeah the huge tsuka must be a lot to wrap i can imagine it being annoying as hell haha that’s cool you got a nagamaki! would love to see a video or pics of it
