Aww, so a last-second death is a Mission Failed. Makes sense. But I could've imagined From Software having a super-secret alternate ending in place for just this sort of occasion.

Woulda been cool if they did add another ending, like Raven or Ayre in their crippled mech just crawling to the other to watch the inevitable end approach them together. Surprised they didn't have more bad endings considering Fromsoft loves their numerous bad endings.
