The weight on his shoulders is unbearable... he's literally fighting YOU to save the planet, and you don't even realize you're the actual villain. That "Pulse Armor Recovery" gets me every time, he was DETERMINED to save the world.

Rusty's OST is probably one of the best ones in all of armored core.

Barely beat him, had to fight through tears. I swear I'll liberate Rubicon in the next playthrough!!!

This fight is sick man, the VA did a good job, at the beginning you can tell he's pissed at Raven, can hear the hatred in his voice. Then when he talks about your resolve and realized you are fighting for something yourself and have sacrificed something, even if he doesn't know what, you can hear his voice go back to normal. Like he's happy that Raven at least found a purpose and isn't totally mindless.

Those who survive a long time on the battlefield start to think they're invincible. I bet you do, too, Buddy.

Im so glad I did this ending second. This fight had so much more impact for me. I didn't want to do it. "You must of chosen something, sacrificed something. You found your purpose didn't you, buddy." made me tear up. It was so unexpected from a game like this. FromSoftware has truly made a masterpiece.

Rusty is a straight G. The man plays on my heartstrings.

Rusty is the true wingman. All or nothing buddy.

The amount likeness between Rusty and Pixy, from the way they nickname the player, the role the play in the story and the very way they talk to the player. Crazy

This is the classic mecha staple of fighting your best friend because you're stuck on two different sides of the war.

"Rusty! It's good to see ya, buddy!"

Something I just noticed, which was admittedly probably obvious: Rusty only heals twice before his terminal armor hits (and he heals again). I always just assumed his final repair after the terminal armor was some sort of resolve thing but no, it was set up within the fight and still abides by the rules of the game which is really cool.

My first fight with Rusty was so raw. Got him on my first try, but not without expending ALL my ammunition (I had a double trigger build) and sometime after I activated his final phase, he activated my Terminal Armor, and from there it was just an all-out fist fight. There I was, all out of ammo and repair kits, both of us running on fumes, dashing towards Rusty like a madman to punch him to death for the last bit of his health.

This bossfight was already sad and epic but the music just ties it together. Most emotional fight in game by far. Next to walters

This fight made me ugly cry. Wait for me, buddy...I'll be right behind you. You can chew me out on the other side...

You can AB straight in to Rusty so you will have an epic headlock to begin with
