@@spoopyb2069Tank builds+duel Gatling gun is just something you don’t need to use your brain for. Let the bullets do the thinking and keep on the stagger bar to win the fight. Took away all the fun thought ngl, that is why I always use anything else but Gatling gun so at least I can enjoy something without making it too easy

i was hoping if you get one of the endings, she will contact you after the fight and becomes your new partner/handler. maybe in the future expansions.

I think the most Terrifying part about finding the real raven is realising they went through your mission completely unscathed

I think this Raven might’ve taken down both arqabus and the PCA at once because not only you see dead, PCA MTs, but as well as arquebus MTs as well kind of like the mission in modern warfare 2 where you take down both factions while make your escape

and the sucky thing was, you expected that you will fight mooks and maybe 3 or more pca battleships and those special pca mechas. then this surprise happens. and it was awesome, The original Raven decimated both opposing sides and waits for you and fought with you with diminished ammo. (he probably fought you with full health and ammos and repair kits, but still, storywise he fought you with a handicap.) and that intro was just so great.

when I entered the mission, I had a feeling it was gonna be a boss fight. but the actual raven itself lol, that was interesting.

the dialogue after the fight about how raven is a name who represent independent people who choose their fights i like to think is a representation of the armored core fans who played the other games

This encounter is almost perfect, i just wish that we'd have more encounter with raven and that he's much tougher to bring down

The operator implies that "Raven" is not a name of single individual, but rather a symbol of resolve for mercs who choose what they fight for. In AC : LR, player character inherit the Nickname raven as well, and now that Nickname is owned by 621. This raven, probably isn't the same one as in the Last raven as well, considering The timeline is greatly different from the past game, and also the biggest hint is where all of Old Faction didn't exist in AC6 timeline, meaning a long time has passed in between those two.

@@malaysianjeebus592 no, 4th gen are the prequels, in timeline, being that those are set in late 21st/early 22nd century. There are fan theories that the other timelines branch off from 4th gen. (with 1st, 3rd, and 5th gen all being set centuries after a "great disaster", and 2nd gen being the direct sequel to 1st gen, 3rd gen being largely a remake of 1st gen, 5th gen explicitly having the 4th gen setting as it's prequel, with relics from the 4Answer game making appearances as bosses.) But 2nd gen are the ones that get furthest into space, and they've only colonized bodies in the solar system, and haven't been to other stars yet outside of a probe to alpha centauri. With rubicon being in an unknown star system, that places it in the far future when compared to the settings of any of the old Armored Core titles.

You get a little more info in new game + dialogue with a PCA boss fight the boss basically outright says that Raven started everything on Rubicon. Then the description for Raven's helmet says that it was modified to make combat worthy by a anonymous independent mercenary group. So the helmet description kind of hints at the Ravens being active again.

Raven was an organization in Armored core 1 to Last raven, every AC pilot was a raven if they got accepted by the AI controller / Raven’s nest Last raven is special since the protagonist is the last raven and in AC4 they become lynx and I forgot what they’re called in 5

So maybe that's her saying that sadly Raven's time in the sun has come to an end because someone else has earned the title and now they'll see what they get up to. Personally, I'm really hoping they make a novel with Raven as the protagonist or at least with a more heavy emphasis.

As an AC newbie I've never expected such epic and badass scenes from this game. Besides this there is that part when you clear the fog in Xylem and the PCA helicopter arrives and a bunch of enemy mechs jump on top of those tall buildings. The staredown before the 2v2 fight between 621 and Rusty vs the PCA officers. Also when Rusty does the final shot against the Ice Worm.... Man I got chills.

@@squidoverlord3362 Nah bro, duel Gats is good, but double Zimmermans (especially if you also rock two more shotguns in weapon bays) is stupid cracked. You can pretty much chain stagger and chunk all the boss enemies.

This was such an awesome boss. What a cool twist to the mission.

Ngl i never expected this game to grab me the way it did. This scene is so badass.

I love how the setup of this fight compells the player to assault boost towards raven, for an epic clash

One thing I really liked, was that my build was quite similar to him. Song bird, 10 missle launcher, pilebunker, and plasma rifle. Same melee weapon, similar "catching" type missle, same songbird. Only difference was I was using quad leg mech with plasma rifle. But, we both hitting each other with pilebunker and then healing at the same time, was... Almost too poetic.

I so badly want to build this AC, glad to see his helmet is available from new game plus.

Well, the original raven had that armored core in the beginning mission and got his ass kicked, us protagonists however, had an armored core we were not fond of, beat the local enemies then wiped the floor with the helicopter, if anyones on borrowed wings it is the dude that got wiped out and had his merc license swiped!

my favorite moment in the game i admit i did lose to him first round cause i wasnt expecting a boss fight

This is just a theory, but maybe she is some kind of AI from AC masters of the Arena. I would not be surprised if some corporation decided to fragment Nine ball conscious into different personalities and sell them as individual AI for profit.

It took a cheese builds to beat him for me. And even then it was close. I felt terrible for taking his name and I then his life, even after Ayre said whst she said. So the next big build i make I'll make in his honor. Fly High, Raven. Leave the rest to us.

The greatest staple of any armored core game is fighting the trailer AC, and its always fucking brutal. This iteration though, this iteration is the best of them all, in my opinion anyway.

The final line on this fight... It implies the Raven handler wanted to try to preserve the Old Raven, but this one refuse. It implies a handing of the Torch: I'm done. Here's a better one ready to take my place.

I love how he just turned out to be using roughly the same loadout as me and constantly utilizes the ASHMEAD... I had to fight him with the same build.

I like how when raven hear the handler identifies it target he started to turn around, only to paused slightly when he heard the target is the mercenary that stealing his ID It's like "Huh, about time. Wonder how good this guy is to stole my name"

I have a question I noticed that when you stagger Raven he seems to recover very quickly some other ACs do as well. I assume it has to do with the system recover stat on head pieces? But no matter how high i have my Sys Recovery im still stunned for about 1.5sec. Has anyone else noticed this? Is the system recovery stat for that or sonething else?

The foreshadowing of the will to choose is obvious with this fight it clearly tells you the upcoming choices of your first run

The reveal after you think it’s a lady talking to you but it’s actually talking to the pilot is so good. I got chills here

Just S ranked this mission today. Zimmerman, Gou-Chen, and twin drones. Time everything right and you can pop them before they have a chance to use a repair kit.

When I fought him we both had pile bunkers so it was race to see who would get staggered first and lose 80% of their health

most annoying part about this is, when trying to recreate raven's build, you legit can't as you'll become overweight with the weapons

You dont need to recreate, in the AC Data last tab you can get the preset of all ACs you have defeated in arena, including Raven. That fight is only available in NG+ though

Best Boss of this game, he just use the parts that you have, no ridiculous teleport, no huge AOE "melee" attack like Ayre and Iguazu that doesn't make sense, it's a pure skill fight like in PvP.

He's an independent merc.The callsign raven is a callsign that has been passed down to independent mercs for generations who basically uphold the value of choosing who and what to fight for . It's passed on to the next by choice or by defeating the previous holder of the callsign in battle. That's basically what this fight was about. Raven and his handler wanting to see if you're worthy of the title.

Ironically beat this guy so quickly without much effort. But that intro was SO BADASS!!

Is it possible to get his armor? Or helmet at least

I have it. when you beat the game and do new game+ beat the ice worm again and you will unlock the final arena "analisys" where you fight raven again, once you beat him you get the helmet

I still confused with this: who exactly hired him? Besides, I thought the Raven we got our identity from was dead?

NG+ story. It's revealed there's more than one Raven. Not sure if there can be multiple or the title gets passed around. This Raven just wants to see if you're worthy of the callsign. As for who hired him. He's an independent Merc. Could've been anyone, you are a high-priority target after all.

Real Raven was easier in the Defending the Dam mission. But this one was more fun

this game is just full of emotions huh? i swear, i did not want to do this battle. and many more later on. I thought I was gonna play an awesome action mech game, instead, i played a game with a tragic adventure

Beat this guy in 1 attempt using dual shotguns, not hard at all but interesting fight.

To all the discounted Raven struggling to fight the Real Raven out there, I will teach you a 4-steps old trick pass down from generations of AC veteran pilot to counter this kind of high mobility enemy. 1. Built you AC to the MAX AP. 2. Put on rapid fire/high DPS weapon. 3. Sit still in the corner of the map. 4. Swat that annoying fly.

Shotgun and stunning him as much as possible also help. Used an Assault Rifle, Zimmerman Shotgun, and two shoulder 10-missile launcher. And lots of assault boosting and kicking. Beat him on first try.

Seems cheap to just mow them down with changuns

@@Onesinglepickle Sometimes one chaingun and one pulse gun can work even better against shielded enemies. But I have a feeling From will nerf the chainguns and possibly the Songbirds as well. If you use 2 miniguns and 2 songbirds many fights can be trivialized. It's like the Comet Azure and Moonveil combo from Elden Ring. I've seen a pretty average player completely decimate this boss with these weapons too.

Holy fuck. Infinite stamina, infinite combos, infinite number of attacks. But these games are fair, lol. I've had both zimmers, and still was getting zipped into oblivion. The combos are fucking ridiculous and most of the time unavoidable. Another hour+ wasted on an "easy game". Probably a dozen left for me until I'm finally done this hell hole.
