There are many reasons I like the Alea ending for this game over the Liberator ending. The biggest reason is that we get to kill Snail early, but a close second reason is because I'm pretty sure Rusty lives in that playthrough route. I hate that Rusty still dies even though we take the good guy route and fight alongside him in the end. It feels even worse when we learn Walter's the one that did it.

Rusty might still die in the Alea Iacta Est, trying to stop Xylem, at which he might be killed by Handler Walter piloting HAL 826 by his freewill after he was not captured by Snail

It's VERY likely he lived. - Walter says there are SIX identical copies of the Vespers, not 8 so there's no STEEL HAZE. If it was STEEL HAZE ORTUS instead of STEEL HAZE, he would've said six identical copies and another unknown AC, since nobody outside of the RLF affiliation would've known. - ALLMIND's mechs and C weapons are invading the Xylem, most of the Vespers were eliminated and V.III O'Keefe said to "die in misadventure" which is suspicious, and V.II Snail is presumed dead, and so are V.VI and G3 and G5, Flatwell's AC was wrecked, V.III Pater down, G6 Red down, and you are supposedly down since ALLMIND wiped your records. Arquebus is crumbling alongside Balam. Overseers fly the Xylem. So suffice to say, since things are going down and the Xylem is being invaded and stopped, that means that Rusty doesn't need to stop them (he may be suspicious) but he has no real opportunity to interfere. - He likely survived, the RLF just had no real way to intervene since the mysterious mechs are indirectly or directly helping them, and since things are going down it's just too crazy for a clever guy like him to decide to run in and die.

This is one of the best experiences I’ve had in gaming recently, the music, the scenery, everything falling onto your shoulders, it’s just so fucking cool, it’s just sooooo cool, the combat is so satisfying too😭

That scream gave me life. Mf took my boy Walter and made him kill my buddy Rusty

They could have made the Arquebus BALTEUS fight better with the AC anomaly energy boost like they did with V.IV Rusty tho

Idk if it really would help. The arena and the boss's moveset don't play into infinite EN at all, and we aren't at the right height to get that coral boost anyways.

To your video description: Some of Snail's lines change according to whether you fought (and defeated) him in the previous mission or not. He will replace "You ignored me" with "you tried to kill me".

I think it pisses off Snail more if you ignored him instead of trying to kill him.

Totally, there’s just a little edge in his voice when he says “IGNORED”. He’s pissed in both instances, but being ignored hurts his god complex

I think it's just his mech cooling off after he uses the combination of pulse armour and assaulr armour, you get some red hot bits cooling down after using them as well

looks like moonlight blade but it's the coral version called red shift, coral rifle, dual plasma shoulder guns, coral generator which makes booster color output red.
