I am packing up my life to put in storage and i have to say Jack you would be very proud. All clean-no food- and all boxes are wrapped in tarps and labelled. Oh and no big furniture or junk mail😂😂😂

I had to pack my life up and put it in storage too. It was great to empty it all out and fill up my new flat.

The boxes change shape over time it's Is the humidity that shrinks the boxes they do not always get wet they sometimes look like they get wet

Dry cleaners can do wonders for hats. Or if you have a streamer , but be careful you don't shrink the hat.

Thanks! I bought that off Whatnot on Hairy Tornado's auction.

I scored 4 NOS 1960s Beatles Kangol hats a couple of years ago. Got them for some silly low price like $20 or something at an auction and resold for close to $1000. Apparently they are quite sought after because out of all the Beatles branded products out there they are one of the only items the Beatles themselves were photographed wearing.

That brass Eagle could be very good money on eBay Nice piece from a bookstore

The boxes could have got wet when they filled the unit. If there was heavy rain on the day it would have affected the cardboard, but would have dried out without causing damage to the insides.

No, we haven't been out there since our train locker, so a few years I think. We brought some of the finds from that locker out there, and had trouble selling some very quality pieces (unless we sold it super cheap). Probably a good place to pick, as the other pickers don't know their stuff very well.

Apparently if you show up to an auction and you are the only one there, an auction requires 3 potential bidders to proceed with an auction I imagine he always had two other people with him they don’t bid he buys for $1
