i always check discs are there and in good condition. The way u purchased could have been just a bunch of boxes.

Yeah you are definitely right, I only checked about 25% of them before buying, got too excited and it cost me a bit in the end.

ty 2 was probably a second print run which is why the seal is different. I’m still trying to figure out why it’s like that, that’s just a guess.

I never ever believe any seller who says what their thing is worth on ebay. They usually site the listed prices rather than the sold prices. It's a bit annoying at times haha

Always check cases for correct discs, condition, missing discs, etc. You’ll save yourself a lot of money in the long run

Crazy how Puzzles were double or triple retail during Covid… they never even move for me anymore even far below retail so got rid of them by giving em away to friends and family

Haines manuals are good sellers. Especially Trucks, Jeeps, Luxury Vehicles.

@34:56 That happened to me. One night around 7pm I was walking my dog because she was whining to go outside. I found a trash bag full of ps2 and game cube games sitting outside of my apartment complex’s recycling bin. I also found some old movies and vhs tapes. Including a Backstreet Boys vhs tape. Idk if someone was moving out or moving to college. Some had the games in there and some had something different lol. A few was worth money. A lot of grand theft auto games were in there to.. My favorite find was the grand theft auto vice city stories as well as the simpsons hit and run for the game cube complete! Sold majority of the games. I was so happy to find them just sitting there because I was a big gamer growing up. Had all of the games systems from Nintendo all the way to the ps4. These games were in excellent, good and acceptable condition. Didn’t know old video games would sell for so much on eBay since finding that bag and listing items.

Hope the discs are good. I have great luck finding games at flea markets, and equal luck getting home and them being unplayable…. However that’s on me. I really should have a re-surface machine. At $3 a piece, hell yeah! Even at that I can turn them into my local guy for profit even unplayable.

I pray to god I go to a yard sale and find def jam fight for ny. I use to play that game all day everyday. Mad that I sold it to GameStop years ago lol. If I do come across it I’d keep it for a whole year before selling it.

What do you use to resurface the games

I go to a video game store local to me and they have a high quality $3000 resurfacing machine called an ELM ECO that sands down the discs layers to buff out the scratches. Most libraries have them as well. It costs me about 2-3 dollars a disc, so it's only worth it on expensive games.

So you have cost for the day and then total cost the video, but no estimated profit? Would help if there was. To help shorted the video, just post the comps when you pick up the item. That's helps keep viewers in, instead of waiting for something unsure. but all in all, great finds!

i got that vice city but i got a really expensive grand theft auto collectors edition with vice city grand theft auto 3 and san andreas

My best find was old new stock Hewlett Packard Graphing Calculators. I spent$100 for 144 of them. I sold them single and in lots. I averaged $52 profit per unit. I had them all sold in less than one month. I have never found a single HP48G even used since then. But yes $100 into $7,500 is my best find ever.

That is a once in a lifetime find right there! A lot of sellers nowadays know about calculators so it's hard for me to find them at a good price, but the vintage ones can be very good

Always check the disc conditions and see is manuals are there etc you claimed the games there was no reason not to take your time and could have saved yourself some money

You do know that every single business you interact with in your day-to-day life is a reseller... Mcdonalds, Target, Walmart, and even Goodwill. Those hamburgers McDs charge you $10 for, they paid probably 10 cents for them. If there were no resellers there would be no eBay and you would not be able to find any games anywhere but the local dump. So in other words, you're welcome :D

Almost every single seller at a fleamarket is a reseller themselves. They buy their stuff from other people first, and then I buy from them. That guy probably got those games for next to nothing from the original owner. He made his profit and I'll make mine, and the next person will make theirs and so on and so on. I paid the money I had on me at the time, had to borrow 20 bucks from my brother. I don't feel guilty at all and would have gotten them for less if I could since 5 of the gamecube games did not work after I tested them haha, but that's just how it goes sometimes.

She said she paid $85 lol
